Re: Weather
Hardly a cloud in the sky, not often been able to say that this year. Very warm and sunny already so a quick walk then back to enjoy the rays. Anyone smell burning charcoal

Re: Weather
It rained intermittently last night but it was dry with a chilly breeze coming off the sea this morning. We took jumpers and waterproofs on our walk but by the time we got to the sea front it was getting quite warm. It was warm enough to justify ice creams after lunch.
Muttly achieved two milestones today. Firstly he went through the door of the tram station. Secondly he managed to get on a tram with a bit of encouragement. Coming back apart from struggling with the steps he wasn’t too bothered. Being open sided he liked the breeze as we traveled and stretched out on the floor.
Ian reminded me of the last time we were in Delft. Our trusty old Garmin tried to sent me over one of the little bicycle and pedestrian bridges. Even the size of the Duetto it would have upset a lot of Cloggies.

Le Faou Morbihan, been through some rain but a dry evening now and warm
Forecast an improving picture.
Trip has had its moments of stress including having to reverse a quarter of a mile in the dark on a very narrow road with pouring rain due to route closed and no warning Stay safe and have a great day

Re: Weather
Good morning and safe travels if you're on the road. Mostly sunny here today with a some cloud and 18°c. Moving a bit further inland and down a bit today towards the heat. Should be fun, I mean nobody uses the roads on a sunny Sunday, do they

Re: Weather
A nice bright day with a slight breeze making it pleasant. Nothing much doing today apart from a bit of admin, topping up and emptying tanks etc. Muttly needs a rest after yesterdays outing.
I thought Ian was pulling up behind us a minit ago. Same van but just the site staff moving some ones van whilst they mow the grass.

Re: Weather
Overcast but quite warm so far this morning. After the morning chores like breakfast dog walk etc we are off to the west side of Devon today.
We are calling at Dunster castle before stopping overnight at Porlock. Me and muttly can have a mooch round the grounds whilst management is in the castle. Even though he managed the doorway in to the tram depot I don’t think he would cope with dark castle doors but we will see.

Re: Weather
Warm, sunny and a high of 23°c today. They said that yesterday but it felt much hotter than that. Bit warm for walking but needs must, have to dig out my old hat though to stop the bonce getting sunburn.

Sod's law working well again.
Far and away the warmest and driest day we saw in the last 3 weeks, and we have to do the manual labour of emptying and cleaning the van!!
25c here today and very humid.....

Re: Weather
Malestroit for a couple of days 28 degrees and sunny, bonus is everything seems to be working fine on the van. Rochefort-en-terre tomorrow for a day or so then head of to St Jean de Monts....probably.
Time to try to give the van a rinse, it got filthy in the rain we drove through!

Bright this morning if not sunny and 15 degrees but rain is forecast for this afternoon. Turned very humid and clammy yesterday so might freshen it up a bit.

Re: Weather
It was very hot yesterday, hard work trying to keep the van cool into the evening. Bit more cloud today but temperatures remain high so we might get some showers. Looks like a walk to the pub for lunch, couple of miles there and who knows how far back depending on how much lunch I have
Happy travels if away.

Re: Weather
28 degrees in Rochefort-en- terre, site we have been many times over the years, last time not up to much but now fabulous. Pool is 28 degrees and we have it pretty much to ourselves. A burford and another pvc here amongst all the Brits who seem to be all in one area, we are away on our own as far as possible, does that sound awful!

Re: Weather
We were looking forward to a lovely day at the Valley of Rocks near Lynton but it took a bit of re thinking. We couldnt get out of Porlock due to the A39 being closed so we had to go over Exmoor. We eventually got to Lynton by lunch time and managed a nice walk after lunch.
As it was a nice evening we decided to walk down to Combe Martin for a chippy tea. Muttly lay in evening sun taking in the sea breeze.

Re: Weather
Rain didn't appear yesterday afternoon although there was a light drizzly shower in the morning but it didn't get as warm as forecast either.
Bit dull this morning but should brighten up later with the temperature getting to the low to mid 20's.

Re: Weather
Our walk,on a recognised route, yesterday was good except for us trying to negotiate a path across an uphill field that had been destroyed by grazing animals. Apart from the heat and the risk of ankle damage, we were fighting off clegs the whole way over. Lunch in the pub was good though as was the food
Much the same kind of day today with broken cloud and 25°c later. The walk today will be on an old railway track or even concrete pavements.
