Happy St Swithins day. Sky was a bright orange here last night, what sort of message is that to give a shepherd  scratch head Very misty this morning after overnight rain, cloudy day ahead with temperatures hitting 16°c. Usual Monday morning exodus from the site going on, walkies for us.

A bright and dry start this morning for a change. Part of this weeks plans is to replace the gas bottle for the van. Once the garden bin is emptied tomorrow I can move the van off the side hedge, it’s overdue cutting back. Whist the van is moved over I can  put the replacement bottle in the locker.
I am not sure what the weather is like up the coast in Scarborough were our daughter is camping but she said they got the tent up ok.
With  her being away we have been thinking of a pub stop, maybe North Yorkshire, at the end of the month. We have plans for late August early September but that seems a long while away. Even if the weather dosnt play we can always retreat to the pub.

Well the weather forecast for here today is who knows  scratch head Yesterday the forecast was for a bright afternoon with rain later in the evening. The sun appeared for a millisecond then we had showers on and off for the duration. Today there's weather warnings for heavy rain on some forecasts and none on others  shrugg Guess I'll need to toss a coin.

Nice start here for a change, and, looking ahead looks good too, as it should in midsummer really!

Now have to decide which day to go to Norwich Motorhome Show!

Friday current favourite..

A bright and warm start this morning. Our son suggested me and him have a day out walking today so it looks like it’s going to be good day for it.
He has wanted to go back to the village were I was brought up in West Yorkshire for a while. Last time we walked some of the hills but this time it will be a canal side walk and some of the lanes. Hopefully the museum will be open.

No Rowies this time Boaby, had a fish supper from The Bay (£10.60) and very good it was. The sun has appeared at last, sure we would have seen it yesterday if it wasn't for the haar blowing in off the sea. Should stay bright with a high of 21°c later. Moving on today so hopefully the sun will stay with us.

Cracking afternoon out at the Driffield farm show, great to see the heavy horses and farm animals, weather stayed nice and warm with clear blue skies.
Have a nice evening, hope all goes well with your real estate guy GH.

I have just a day out in West Yorkshire with our son as planned. As we turned off the M62 there was mist on the top of hills but by the time we got to the start of the walk it was a lovely and bright with a gentle breeze. By lunch time it was warm enough for shirt sleeves.
It’s not often to you get such a nice day in that part of the country so the park was packed at lunch time. We spotted some one getting up from a bench so we made a dash for it. When we got back to the car park we could see the pub was open so we had tea before coming home allowing the rush hour traffic ease off.
Hopefully if this weather holds I will get the side hedge done whilst management is out for the day tomorow.

Good luck with the sale GH. No distillery tours for us Boaby, did loads during the 80s when they were free as was a sample of the goods. Think it was Glenfiddoch who started charging first then they all jumped on the bandwagon. I used the phrase that involves the words "stick" and "jumper"  biggrin

It was a lovely day yesterday so the BBQ came out. There has been some overnight rain and today looks to be a cloudy one but warm at 19°c. Still decent walking weather so that's what we'll do.
