Re: Weather
Quite a heavy shower around midnight last night but it's bright and mostly sunny this morning. Forecast says no rain so there probably will be. Out for a wander and a spot of lunch if I can summon up the energy

Re: Weather
Bright sunny start although clouded over a little now, car washing first thing then about 200 feet of spraying weed killer to do. Last few jobs before departure Friday from Plymouth.
Very little wind today which is a bonus.
Have a great day all

Raining and miserable on top of our plateau at Saarburg, hence forum activity. Was lovely calm and hot yesterday afternoon after morning thunderstorm.

Re: Weather
A bright and warm but a little overcast here in Dorset. After a bit of admin ie topping up the water we are going to have a stroll round the area. Apparently the cafe at Portland lighthouse serves a nice crab butty so that will be a reason for management to walk that far.
Muttly likes it here because we are far enough from two other young dogs on the field. They spent yesterday evening playing mad dogs. He just watched them from a distance. He is past playing mad and chasing other dogs. Hopefully todays walk won’t be too hard for him.

Re: Weather
We are on the sunrise field and it was certainly a lovely sun rise this morning. The next field along is sunset. Last night the sun setting over Chesil was beautiful.
The breeze we had for our walk yesterday has eased off so it’s a good plan we are going to visit Portland castle today hopefully with shady places for muttly.
Even with his issues of doorways he dosnt seem to mind castles especially if it’s dark and spooky.

Re: Weather
Great sunset here last night, shepherds must have been over the moon Cloudy start but should stay dry with a high of 18°c, almost shorts weather. Moving a bit further down the country today, nothing better than a change of scenery.
Happy travels if you're on the road
Last time we visited the Portland lighthouse (back in the 70's) the blew they foghorn as we walked along the path in front. It was painful for us adults but kids were screaming with fright.

Glorious day again here in Holland, currently at the Kroller Muller museum and huge park. Site at OTTERLO next.
Hog, have a great trip, you will, of course, forget something!!
Remember the natives where you're going wear more or less same as us! This is why I now have three pairs Spanish PJ's

Cheers Ian this bear doesn't do PJs. Related story though, I have posted this before so forgive me if you already read it.
Cold night, pouring with rain and the gas ran out needing me to change bottles. Being au naturally grabbed a shirt, went out and did the deed being the hero I am.
At this point I should mention I am over 6 feet and Lady G is 5 foot 4 and considerably slimmer.
Woke next morning to a cry "Why is my blouse on the floor and soaking wet."
What a mistaka to maka.

I havnt been to the museum at Kroller Muller Ian but you’re not far from Arnhem and the open Air Museum. You will need a full day there. Typical Dutch the choice of food is to die for so don’t take butties for lunch.
Also if you are like me and can’t miss something military there is the airborne museum linked to A Bridge Too Far.

Thanks Dave. Would like to do Arnhem but a no no for a Euro3.
If into art KM is a good choice. If not expensive and you have to pay 3 times, park entry, park parking, then KM entry. 60+€ total

Re: Weather
A tale of woe, btw the weather was good, to keep it in to context...
Before leaving this morning, filled van water tank, hose reached our parking space. Happily doing this simple task, tank filled. Having a working hose and infinite water, decided to spray that side of the van to wash the dust off, just got a perfect spray, current wifey walks around back of van, straight into my carefully created deluge!!!
Now HOW can that possibly be my fault

Re: Weather
The Open Air Museum is outside Arnhem but I admit last time we were there we had the Duetto so it may now be within the clean air zone. If that’s the case it’s a place to cross off my list of past visits.
Thinking back the first time we visited was when I was stationed just over the Border in Germany. Second time was with the trailer tent when the kids were little.

Re: Weather
Summer arrived yesterday in Angus and due to stay for a few days at least.
Sunset last night at 22.10, sunrise this morning for solstice at 04.20 but as usual at this time if year didn't get totally dark. Watched the glow in the sky move along the Grampians from bedroom window. Heading off to Norfolk in couple of weeks and see from weather app that sunset there is about 40 minutes earlier than here, so will be noticeable.

Lovely bright start and it’s getting warm already. Maybe it’s time to dig out the shorts and expose the legs to the world for the first time this year.

Boaby, Weetabix is my breakfast of choice when we're away in the van but, no matter how I try, I can't master the dark art of getting two out the packet and into a bowl without covering the work surface in shrapnel
Lovely day here in the South of Scotland yesterday, BBQ and tea outside in the warm evening sunshine. A little cooler and cloudier today with rain on the forecast for this evening. Going out for a walk and some lunch but our tea will be courtesy of Mr microwave
Happy travels if you're away.

Morning all,
Overcast this morning but quite a nice temp at 16 degrees. Not supposed to be much change over the course of the day.
Take care if your out and about.

Re: Weather
Headed to West Bay and had lovely pasties sat on the side of the harbor in nice sunshine but as we crossed into Devon it clouded over.
By the time we got to Seaton it was too chilly for shorts whilst I was sitting out with tea and cakes. No matter it’s a nice site within walking distance of Seaton.
