Weather
Morning Dave, dry overcast with a n/e breeze, good walk with Tag earlier down the harbour. Gulls are a real hazard now, dive bombing if you go near a rubbish bin.
Headges cut ,followed by a rib eye steak BBQ yesterday afternoon ( Popeseye steak)
Enjoy your day at the office big man.

Re: Weather
13°c just now and still overcast but it should burn off and get up to 23° later. It was Cajun chicken in flat breads yesterday, might dig some fillet steak out of the freezer to BBQ for tea We could be heading out on a mission though, discovered that the brackets holding our metal garden table (which gets covered every winter) together have rusted away. No repair possible so......
Take it easy

Eat, sleep, repeat Thought about a rescue mission for our home outside table, after an assessment it was dismantled and dispatched. Finding a replacement will be tricky as most retailers want to sell whole patio sets. Out for coffee with my brother this morning, followed by a BP check with the practice nurse and then picking up my repeat prescription from the chemist.
What excitement

Re: Weather
Another overcast day and still chilly in the wind. It must have rained at some time last night because the decking was damp this morning. I waited until after lunch to finish treating the rest of the decking.
By the time I walked down to see foot lady it was chilly enough for my jacket. I hope it warms up a bit before our next trip on the 19th.

Re: Weather
It was dull and rather cool first thing, 11° by 10am. Travelled up to Kirkby Lonsdale, sun and clear sky, warm (only 16 but feels warmer than that) with a cooling breeze now and again.

A rather chilly 9 degrees and overcast. Forecast is for it to brighten up in the afternoon again but will be cooler then the past couple of days.

Re: Weather
Where are you heading Boaby, is it still Whitby or further afield?
Yes, took a while for the cloud to burn off yesterday and it looks like the same will happen today. The great garden table hunt goes on so we're heading out to a few places to see what they've got, essentially it's just an excuse to have lunch out
Happy travels to those on the move.

Re: Weather
Rather cool overnight, 11° now rising to 18 in Kirkby Lonsdale, sun breaking through, no rain expected again. THS about two thirds full, they've got loads of hook up points if you wanted them, very few people using those pitches. We were last here 5 years ago and they weren't here then. They want £5 for electric maybe that's why few people using it. Toilets available but showers you pay extra. At £14.50 it's now quite expensive for THS, it was £10 when last here.

Re: Weather
Have a great trip Boaby, great feeling to be getting away in the van again I am sure.
Just back from a quick trip in to town, cooling breeze this morning but still unbroken blue sky.
Did some concreting yesterday which seems to be drying well, hopefully the mysterious leak in our lounge wall will now be cured for next Winter.
Have a great day all

Aye yer right Tony, heading west after that, no Scotland this year. Mild and overcast here, hardly a breeze .Askit wrote:Where are you heading Boaby, is it still Whitby or further afield?

Both of us are 90% better than our last planned trip away GH, it's still thick sea fret/ har along the coast and inland a fair bit too, nice walk with Tag all the same
Hope you're solved your damp problem.
Have a nice day.

Re: Weather
Very little change here, still starting with overcast skies and a bit on the cool side then heating up as the sun breaks through. Unfortunately it's not happening until well into the afternoon so there's not much heat getting generated. It means that it's getting cool again in the evening.
Shopping day so cool is good, it's bad enough trailing round shops but doing it in hot sunshine is no fun.
Happy travels to those on the road.

Re: Weather
Blue skies and sunny again but quite a strong breeze blowing this morning. Time to get out and get on with a few more jobs, making great progress so feel a trip away coming soon. Quite fancying Snowdonia area. Concerned about the wild fires back in Canada, predictions are it will be a terrible season as everything is so dry. So far BC and the Island have escaped the worst but it is only a question of time sadly.

Re: Weather
Another overcast but bright start to the day. It actually feels a bit warmer now the breeze has eased of. Its supposed to be a bright dry day Saturday and plans are afoot to wash the Rienza roof. Saying that its forecast for thundery showers Sunday so that plan may change we will see.

Same old, 11 degrees, dry and cloudy forecast 15 degrees today, sunny and 20 degrees by Monday. Hopefully forecasters are right and we will miss most of heat in next few days.
