Re: Weather
Another dull but dry start to the day and an early breakfast before we go for our flue jabs. Management said we should go to the vets like muttly. He gets jabs, teeth check and claws trimmed in one visit rather than the the three appointments I have this month.

Re: Weather
Overcast here too with a chance of showers this afternoon, still getting colder with a brisk wind blowing. Getting our flu and covid booster in a couple of weeks, booked online. Wish getting other appointments were so well organised.

Re: Weather
Dull and dark here, rained in the night, more expected. We have our Covid and Flu jabs on Saturday. MOT on van Friday, that stresses me more than the jabs.

Re: Weather
Managed to stay dry yesterday and had pleasant day in Llandudno without need for jackets. Parked on sea front, free for Blue Badge holders. Management took me round poppy trail which was nice, and Longest Yarn knitting exhibition. This was a series of nearly 80 scenes from DDay that had been knitted and we're on tour now. She was interested in knitting, I found historical accuracy and descriptions on scenes fascinating. Well worth a visit if you are within reach. It was busy but well organised.
Hi light for me was dinner at Dylan's restaurant in old Drew Pritchard shop in Conwy. Cracking view if castle and lovely meal. Only downer was on drive back to Betws y Coed realised drivers side headlight was out. I do have spares, but in garage at home. Rest of holiday planned around being back on site by dark anyway so will wait and replace on Monday rather than chance Halfrauds.
Looks like raincoats will be needed today. Off to NT Plas Newedd on Anglesey. Hope everyone missed worst of yesterday's weather

Morning...rain
Now(evening)..rain
Afternoon..visit to Plas Newedd, Anglesey and NO RAIN. Bit of a breeze and could see rain on the mountains but once again got lucky and didn't need jacket on for walk around house and grounds.
Weather looking dry and colder for our next three days at Bridgenorth.

Re: Weather
Cold last night and only 2 degrees this morning. Forecast is for a sunny day but temp isn't supposed to reach double figures. Think the long johns are going to be looked out soon.
Take care all.

Re: Weather
Clear sky this morning and 3°c, could hit 10°c later with no rain forecast. Shopping day so the heavy jacket is going on, seem to feel the cold more as I, erm, mature Heading off to a fairly local site for a few days on Sunday, think I can safely leave my tee shirts at home. Take care if away folks.

Re: Weather
A much brighter morning but feels chilly in the breeze. After my flue jab yesterday I felt a bit off by lunch time and alternating hot and cold by bed time but by this morning it seems to have passed. Hopefully that’s the end of because we had planned to be away for a couple of days next week.

Mostly cloudy today, 7° right now rising to 9 this afternoon, very little chance of rain. We both have dentist appointments today, wife having gone private due to her NHS dentist retiring is there now for a crown to be made, my appointment lunchtime with my NHS dentist.

Re: Weather
Been for an early walk round Betws y Coed while management had her second sleep ( effect of her fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue). Although only 7C sun is shining and no wind so very nice for walking. Picked up lunch from traditional bakers in village to have in the van on way to Bridgenorth later on.
Came back to van when tour coaches started to arrive and village getting busy. Stopped at 14th century church just outside site and managed to bang my head on low beam in entrance porch!
Have a good day

It turned out to be a lovely sunny day yesterday and much warmer than forecast. Back to normal today with it being cloudy and having showery rain on for the whole day. Temperatures back to around 11°c too. Take care if away.

Update - passed MOT. Most beautiful clear sky and sun blinding , it's so low!

Lovely sunny day in Ironbridge gorge. Quite warm walking round Victorian town. Now back at site and waiting for management coming back from her shower hoping she stops at fish n chips van to collect tea, we are a bit away from it so she went off on her mobility scooter. Cold night forecast so heating on.
Good news re MOT Paul.

Re: Weather
I appreciate I'm a day late but the weather in the Lakes yesterday deserves special mention. Barely a cloud in the sky and excellent visibility. I've climbed Scafell Pike four times in my life and yesterday was the first time it wasn't in the clouds. The views from the top were amazing. The air was cold but the sun made up for it. To end a memorable day I saw the Northern Lights for the first time - a red glow in a clear sky high over Ladore seen from the edge of the CAMC Borrowdale site at 2145 Hrs.

Re: Weather
Sounds like you had a special day Caraman Good news for Paul too. It hardly stopped raining here yesterday and was so dark we had to switch some lights on in the afternoon. Same story today although it's due to stop raining around teatime. Enjoy your travels if away.

Horrible this morning. Cold, wet and dark. Rain supposed to ease up around lunchtime and it's supposed to brighten up a bit. Think it might be a day for feet up in front of the TV.

Re: Weather
Sitting having a cuppa at Severn Valley Railway Bridgenorth station. Rain that started at 5 this morning has finally stopped. Dry forecast for rest of day now. As well as train spotting plan is to walk into town later and have a go on cliff railway.
Wrong station I know but sitting in refreshment room watching steam trains pretending to be Trevor Howard. Unfortunately management is in van in car park sleeping, and no Rachmaninov playing in background. Never mind, taste of tea enhanced by railway smells.

Re: Weather
A cold and grey start this morning but we managed our meander before it started drizzling. It’s brightening up towards lunch time.
Hopefully the damp weather will hold off for our trip on Monday and Tuesday but we have booked tea at the pub so that will be somewhere to retreat to if it’s inclement.
