Looking on the brighter side (Sunny but cool here today to keep this within weather) you can't fly Pykie to Vancouver so it won't cost a £zillion per Kg!!!

We have 92kgs allowance between us, that's four large cases plus hand baggage. Issue is getting it in the car!

Just been hammering down here, we have weather warning for thunderstorms, really dark as well.

Turned out quite nice once rain stopped, rather muggy but 21°. Some breaks in the cloud revealing the blue sky . At least won't have to water garden again.

Thunder and lighting in the early hours ,stopped around 6, long enough to get Tag out for a wee walk.
Couple of sunny breaks in between thick sea fog ,light drizzle now.

Been a very nice day, tomorrow is grass cutting then that's it, heading off to Vancouver Island so please mind the shop whilst I am away. Will be back by Groundhog Day and popping up every now to make sure you are behaving yourselves.

I wont mention it is 28 degrees and sunny in Nanaimo today......

Heating kicked in this morning in the house so guess autumn here. ( That and the glut of plums, 2.5kg off one tree yesterday and lots more to come)

Request from daughter yesterday to go and meet her in Largo this morning with the WXL to transport a bed settee she has acquired to her house in Kinross. No mention of plan b if I couldn't oblige!.

Versatility if WXL with barn doors always impresses me.

09:00 walk along sea shore cycle path from Pembrey to Porth Towyn / Burry Port 3 miles. Started to rain after 1.5. Train to Swansea along Llwchwr estuary - great views of north Gower. 2 hours I’m Glyn Vivian Gallery - as impressive and enjoyable as ever. Swansea market and (to oblige) M&S etc. back on train but this time took a taxi back to site. 
Now hunkered down for G& T. Met office wasn’t kidding when they promised a whole month’s rain in 24 hours….. Glad to be on hard standing.

Sorry for all those suffering the bad weather  we've had a very calm day , not particularly warm but dry. Talking of warm, why are supermarkets so cold these days, I suppose its all about saving costs but surely air con costs money to run.

Here in St Jean Pied de Port, started a few drips early last evening, rained non stop since. We couldn't get into a known site 30 MLS away as too soggy, ditto here. Only half full as other half is too muddy. So not just UK then...
