A balmy 12C at 7 30 this morning, not much warmer now and feeling damp out.

Fridge switched on in van and getting loaded for trip to Wales and Shropshire setting off tomorrow morning. Forecast says raincoats needed this trip. Been away 42 nights so far this year and only needed jackets twice so far. Can always hope forecast wrong and our good track record continues

Another beautiful morning here, good walk with Tag down the prom to the harbour, nice day out at Filey brigg yesterday , 4 A/S vans on site.

Beautiful clear sky here ,12° rising to 15. Unfortunately from tomorrow it doesn't look good for the week ahead, a bit warmer with temps up to 17 but high chance of rain every day until Friday when it's looking better.

A lovely bright and dry day here so we manage to get the guttering and water butt fitted. Typically we had to go back to B&Q for the bit at the bottom of the downspout. I later found out it’s called a shoe.
Testing with a hose on the roof the water runs off the roof and into the water butt rather than running down the wall. Ideally I should fit guttering on both sides but that’s enough for now and management has got her water butt as requested. 
As I started packing up management requested a step for the shed she uses for garden things. After a rummage in the spare wood I found some deck boarding and treated blocks of wood. For ten mints wood bashing she should be able to leave the shed safely.

Dull, dank and drizzle this morning with a high of 13°c. We had the moronic daylight fireworks yesterday.......so it begins 

9C and raining as we get ready to set off to Wales, overnight at Meathop Fell tonight. Forecast looks like we will drive through patches of heavy rain and some dry spells

An overcast but dry start today. After the repair work we have been doing hopefully we are ready for the next wet spell.
