Morning all,

Dry and quite warm this morning at 10 degrees.  Should stay dry all day although overcast with the temperature getting to around the 13 mark.

Lovely red/pink sky this morning, sorry for all the shepherds out there. Should stay dry and get up to 15°c later. Shopping day and I've reported fit for duty, arms are a tad tender and I feel a bit queasy but not enough to get a sick note. Off to polish the halo  hugegrins

Another nice bright autumnal morning here. Muttly was lying in a patch of sun snoring loudly when I went down to tackle porridge for breakfast.
I thought it was going to be a bad night after my Covid jab yesterday. My flue jab was no problem. I didn’t feel a thing and no side affects. The jab yesterday really hurt and I felt yuk by bed time. It reminded me of jabs during my time in the army by rough army medics that took a run at you especially tetanus jab in backside. blushes

Cloudy and dry, rather cool first thing but rising to 15.

When you have the flu and Covid jabs together as we did, then you can't report any side effects on the Yellowcard system as you don't know which jab to blame.
I'm not in the age range for the RSV jab , not sure if I was whether I'd want yet another jab.

Paul, public system may e different but the professional portal I used for yellow card reporting did allow for reporting of side effects and interactions between multiple medicines, eg if flu and COVID given together and flu arm is sore then report that but mention COVID given at same time. Some effects will only be reported when both given at same time and be a result if combination

Fortunately most side effects are now well recognised. Doctors and pharmacists were asked to report all serious side effects, or uncommon ones not widely reported and captured in data sheets for individual drugs. Eg headache sore arm flu like symptoms well reported for both jabs and when given together. Something unusual like sight disturbance or widespread rash would still need reporting.

Back to weather, mild cloudy and looks likely to rain. Got moho back from daughter yesterday so drain down and start cleaning today. Will still be used for day trips but no more overnights planned this year

I suppose we should have been wary of the girl that did our jabs. She had tattoos on her arms one of which was a bottle marked poison and a skull. Management has given jabs in her time as a nurse and she said her arm aches this morning and agreed that the girl was a bit heavy handed.
After our meander this morning I feel better. It’s quite mild and bright with lots of damp grass to make muttly sneeze. walkies

I "got" the RSV last month after invitation. The problem is I felt nothing either at the time or afterwards leaving me convinced the chap doing the inoculation didn't do it. Nothing I can do about it  shrugg I spoke too soon about our reaction to the double jag, conked out in the chair after we got back from shopping but I feel a bit better now. Perhaps I should have another wee nap, just to make sure  snigger

Still pretty dull here but no rain so that's OK.

Feeling a bit more human today, cooler here at 13°c. It will be mainly dry and cloudy but there could be showers this morning. I was feeling even more grumpy than usual yesterday, apart from not feeling great, I discovered than my car had a dent on the tailgate. This is the second time our cars have been hit outside the house. I've got a fair idea who was responsible but there's nothing I can do about it  shrugg

When I went down this morning it was grey and misty. I needed the kitchen light on to make breakfast. Muttly has had a look out but has gone back in the sitting room to wait for our walk.
It will be a good day to hunker down in the workshop. I have some painting  to finish before I start a longer winter project.

Marginally foggy here first thing, but, as forecast, improving now,
Driving to Swindon today, therby breaking unbreakable rule#1, never travel anywhere in UK on a Friday, but needs must. Ghastly journey too.....
I'll switch on the wipers passing the Wilts border, always do, rarely wrong, it's usually raining!! hugegrins

A dry and bright start with no sign of the mist we have had for a couple of days. The hedges were full of spiders webs making it look very Halloween like.
We are having an early walk before management goes out for the day. Apparently I have to be here to receive a parcel from the Amazon. I hope it’s not too late because I have bits to finish painting in the workshop.

Another red sky this morning, dry and bright until rain arrives late this afternoon. Temperature seems to be stuck at a high if 13°c.. Looks like a repeat tomorrow too. Take care if away folks.

I had a couple of parcels due this week from Amazon, got a message saying parcel 1 was due on Thursday and parcel 2 was delayed. Wednesday I get a message both out for delivery, later changed to Thursday again. Parcel 2 delivered but another message saying parcel 1 delayed to Saturday. It was dumped on our doorstep last night, just before 8pm and I got an email saying delivered at 8.02pm. I then got another message at 8.03pm saying there was a problem with the delivery and to contact them  confused0

Bright  start in Shrewsbury,  only 8° but rising to 15, very little chance of rain. Thank goodness for Park and Ride, traffic in Shrewsbury horrendous yesterday,  probably even worse today. Town was very busy and probably more so today being Saturday.  We did top half yesterday,  will do lower end today, lots of old and listed buildings.

Lovely bright morning but it will become cloudy soon with rain forecast for this afternoon. Interesting wee programme hiding.on ch4, "abandoned railways from the air". Worth a watch on catch up if you’re into trains or local history.

Bright start, only 6° but rising to 12. Little chance of rain until 7pm when very good chance from then through the night. Homeward bound today, been a really good couple of days.

A nice bright morning so I think a longer walk will be a good idea in case tonight’s walk is delayed by the fireworks again.
I didn’t get any workshop time yesterday because managements Amazon package didn’t arrive until tea time. The other parcel people including the post office give you a delivery time slot.
