Re: Weather
Lovely day yesterday, even got to wear my shorts and sit out. Similar day today with sunshine and broken cloud and a high of 15°c. Heading off again with a stop in the Scottish borders for a few days. Take care folks.

Re: Weather
Gorgeous day yesterday. Kids are off school training days and there were lots playing in the water park at Nairn beach.
Forecast warmer today but at moment rather cloudy. We are moving on again today, heading south as we head towards home , 2 more stops before we leave Scotland.

Re: Weather
A bright and clear morning with no sign of yesterdays mist. Not a lot planned for today but there are more leaves to sweep up in the garden so it would be a good idea to get it done whilst the weather stays dry.

Re: Weather
It got quite cloudy yesterday and the heat made it feel clammy, think it will be a better day. It's started very misty in Melrose but the sun should make short work of it, top temperature today is 20°c. Just about recovered enough for a walk, although some of might be more of a stumble

Re: Weather
Last night we watched another perfect sunset over the Llyn peninsula from the next field to our CL and a short time later we watched the full harvest moon rising in the other direction. We seem to have more wind today but still full sun and perfect views of Yr Wyddfa as the locals call it (Snowdon). Temp forecast to rise to 23.

Re: Weather
Another misty start, it will take a bit of shifting this time so don't expect to see the sun until this afternoon. Should hit 18°c but at least it's dry. Good walk along the Tweed yesterday so we might take it easy today. Take care folks.

Re: Weather
Cool grey start, now warm and full sun. Just saw a skein of geese fly overhead, first of the autumn.
Finished washing and polishing the van including getting more green algae off from under the solar panel. For past few months I have been using new approach on cars and van, Autoglym Polar Blast sno foam, polar wash, and polar seal.. Applied with pressure washer on low setting, hosed off with normal hose. Much less effort than old method, sno foam, two bucket wash with shampoo, polish, top coat. Results seem just as good.

Re: Weather
An overcast but warm day here. Early muttly walk followed by a hospital appointment for management. It was only a blood test that could have been done at the doctors to save £3 parking for fifteen minutes. To make it worse she got a text from the doctors to pick up her prescription as we left the hospital.
Being out early we decided to do a top up shop as the cupboards were depleted after our two weeks away. When we got back next door said would I like help to finish the shed repairs before the weather changes. I have been putting this off until we had finished our latest trip.
It’s all done and the last fence panels are treated whist they were out to do the repairs. That’s a job I am not repeating for a long time hopefully. Crawling between the shed and the wall is for fitter and younger persons as my joints are telling me.

Re: Weather
Drizzly and dull this morning but forecast for another pleasant day.
Booked for a week away in early October. Management wants to visit Ironbridge museums and see a knitting exhibition in Llandudno, so two centre trip. Morris leisure sites at Bridgenorth and Betws y Coed booked, 3 nights each 3 for 2 offer on both, and CMC discount as affiliated sites. £73.60 for three nights hard standing inc. ehu. Happy with that.

Re: Weather
Very heavy mist in Melrose making everything wet, looks like it won't burn off today. We're heading off home to the west where I believe the weather is slightly warmer.

Re: Weather
A dry start here but it’s forecast for rain later this morning. Whist making breakfast Bob the Builder next door was out with his sander. I can’t complain after he helped me yesterday. As far as I can tell it’s only his bay window so shouldn’t take long.
Nothing planned today other than collecting my prescription.Typically after management collected hers yesterday they sent me a text saying mine was ready. Their timing is never very good. In the past I have been down my last couple of days but this time I have two weeks worth left.
Maybe we will get butties for lunch and have them out somewhere.

Re: Weather
12° in Moffat rising to 18, down on yesterday when it was was 21 but felt a lot higher. No rain forecast for today and a bit dull at the moment.
Moffat has changed a lot since last here about 12 years ago, site has loads of new hardstandings and full to brim, apparently same every weekend and they have a minimum 2 night stay.

Re: Weather
We use Moffat a lot, it makes a good stopping off point for us on the way down, or back up, the M74. Weather at home is cloudy but dry, might get a bit of sun later but it won't get very warm. If we get the holiday washing dried, that will be a bonus. Take care folks.

Dull start at Moffat, 14° rising to 17 but we leave here today, stopping at a Motorhome Stopover near Penrith before heading home on Sunday.

Re: Weather
A nice bright start to the day and it actually feels quite warm. Odd jobs to get on with over the weekend starting with moving the van over to empty and clean the cassette. It was done before we left the last site but I like to deep clean it at home.
Whilst the van is moved over the security light at side of the drive can come down. It’s never worked properly since it was fitted because it’s too close to the side of the van. I will fit it on the front of the workshop facing up the drive instead.
Whilst its dry management is going to decant the garden sweepings into the bin ready for emptying next Tuesday.
