A lovely bright start after a slightly chilly night. Hopefully we can manage a walk today before we make our final trip east to home.
Because it’s our last night we are eating in the pub tonight. We called in for a drink last night to be social. There were six of us and a dog so not busy. I think they must be surviving on the income from the camp site to keep them in business. Saying that they are now not opening Monday and Tuesday over the winter.

4C just now at Strathclyde park with clear skies and nice day promised.

11 German registered hire vans arrived on site about 6pm last night, large stickers on front of each numbered 1to 11. Brazilian flags on a few. Group sweatshirts worn by all. My translation of wording on back from Spanish..32nd reunion, friends and together. All left en masse on foot at 9am and vans left on site.

Daughters report 26C in New York on arrival yesterday, moving to Sault Ste Marie Canada for two nights today for wedding the back to New York Sunday for rest of week

8° here rising to 14. Fair chance of rain this morning according to app but doesn't look likely judging by clear blue sky. Still very windy, waves crashing on the rocks quite spectacularly.

Rain overnight, dry but dull this morning, 12° rising to 18 so a bit warmer today but good chance more rain this morning. Moving on again today, really enjoyed Cullen, rough sea providing great view. No dolphins or seals though.

We seem to be in the cusp of the weather systems on the Northumberland coast, I've looked at three or four forecasts for today and they are all different. Currently it's dry and bright so we'll probably walk to Bamburgh for a potter round, does that make us Bampots   Certainly feels a bit warmer now the cold north wind has abated.

13C and cloudy, been a mild night. Moved the van off CMC site before breakfast to get waterside parkups for the morning. Breakfast enjoyed while watching 2s,4s and 8s out on the rowing course. More entertainment now watching hundreds of Park runners go past. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Another mild night. Yesterday varied between sunshine, light rain, heavy rain, light wind and very windy, at least it was mild. Met sister and BIL for dinner, having failed twice so far this year. Good to have catch up.

Heading home today but plan is stop for lunch at Falkirk wheel and go for a walk along towpath.

I envy your walks Peter, my dodgy left hip and knee means sticking to 4 or 5 miles for me (terrain dependant. We tried to book Beadnell for this trip but there was no availability to match our dates so we're on the site at Waren. Yesterday was OK for walking and pretty mild but a strong and cool wind got up in the afternoon. Should be better today, bit overcast but dry and bright with more sun later.

A nice bright and dry start to the day. It must have drier here than we’re we were in Wales for the last two weeks because our garden pots are quite dry and the bird bath is empty. So much for the kids coming to check the house and water things. Typical kids they are too busy unless they want something from us.

Glad we are away if that's the case. Up in North Scotland it's dry,  was all day yesterday and looks bright today although that's quite hard to tell as we are in a very wooded site but I can see sunshine through the trees.

Dry ,overcast and mild, no wind. Nice walk with Tag earlier.
Disturbed night after prowler in garage !!, despite padlocked front gate ,PIR lights and Tag, he/she came in ,opened garage door, wife noticed the garage open from a side window, she woke me ,intruder
Took one look at me in my shreddies and bolted over the garden fence. Nothing missing, lesson learnt, double check everything before you go to bed.

We've been at Beadnell for nearly two weeks (booked at the beginning of the year) and Friday was the only day without strong winds so far but looks to be more of a breeze today. 6 miles is my limit without hip pain but we did 8 on Friday with friends and I paid for it yesterday.

Good to see that Welsh weather is behaving normally. Don't think I've ever been to Bethesda.

Back home after cheeky 3 night break. Wet start at Strathclyde park yesterday but warm and sunny when we got to Falkirk wheel. Tour boats out of action so free parking for all. Wheel was turning for cruisers. Nice walk along canal towpath, smooth and recently resurfaced with tarmac so management happy as mobility scooter ride was one of the most comfortable she has had this summer.

7C and sunny , forecast to 18C later and good weather all week for those away.

Sunny start here too but we expect cloud to bubble up, no rain forecast though. We did a circular walk yesterday over to Budle bay, I can see how it's a birders paradise. Might take it easy today, it's funny how different sites become after the weekenders go home.

Dry overnight,  feels rather cool but app says temp is 14 rising to 17, with very little chance of rain. Dappled sunshine coming through the trees.

Dry cool night after a few showers overnight, good walk with Tag at dawn. 18 degrees now with nice sunny breaks .

A misty morning here. I heard kids shouting somewhere but couldn’t see them. They often gather on Lidl car park waiting for the bus to school but it was too misty to see them. 
Management is away in Scarborough for a couple of days with her mate so apart from a couple of apointments me and muttly are chilling out.
