Re: Weather
It's started cloudy and a bit misty this morning but dry. The forecast suggests it will burn off by lunchtime and hit 22°c this afternoon. We might even get a third dry day tomorrow before the showers, and lower temperatures, arrive on Sunday. Keep safe if away.

Re: Weather
So far this trip we have managed to avoid getting wet on our days out. Yesterday we managed a walk around Marloes before the weather broke in the afternoon.
Moving to St Davids today the rain has held off and it’s getting quite warm. The road coming out of Milfordhaven is very wet looking like it’s rained very heavily.
The forecast for the next couple of days dosnt look too bad so we might stay dry for a couple of walks.

Thick sea fret/ har this morning, just as thick in Filey, so much for the expert local forecast.

Re: Weather
Youse assorted Welsh and Wild Westers have no concept of rain till you come here, currently in CANFRANC, mid Pyrenees. Local red warning for severe weather till tomorrow lunchtime. I've been in tropical downpours that were like a wee bit of mist compared to this!!
On the brighter side, proves, beyond doubt, the wee window seal leak is fixed!!!

Re: Weather
Found some interesting stats.
Yesterday, here in Canfranc, we had 110mm of rain.
In North Walsham we also had 110 mm of rain, but for all of June, July and August combined total!
Still raining now. At 0500 local this morning, a large number of runners set off on a 100Km run, in 24 hrs.please be assured that doesn't include us!! We will do 100Km today, but in the van

Re: Weather
Forecast was spot on yesterday and today looks like a repeat, bit misty just now but it should clear later. Seems to have been the story of this year's weather, a few decent warm days then back to cold or wet conditions. Happy travels to all on the road.

Re: Weather
Being brought up in the Pennines east of Manchester I know about proper rain. Living in a village alongside a river that flooded regularly was no fun. When I went back recently there was very few solar panels on the house roofs.
I know Wales is notably damp but we were lucky yesterday managing a day out without a coat. When we walked back into St Davids this morning it was misty and threatening to rain so we took jackets. We only put our jackets on because it was chilly sat outside eating lunch.
On the way back to the van it started to drizzle but has brightened up in time for the rugby to start. I think they are playing Abadaron. The barman last night said it’s a friendly game. From my time watching army rugby that means they won’t try and kill each other maybe.

Re: Weather
Heavy overnight rain, then a thick sea har/ fret rolled in, more heavy down pours this afternoon, juking in and out with Tag to get him his ablutions.
Living in A& B for many years,I’ve been in some real heavy rain, not the tropical stuff, just as wet.
Have a nice day.

Re: Weather
Sunny all the way to Crieff today. Set up now on a CL , temp says 21 but actually feels hotter. Not a cloud in the sky. Decent phone signal now (yesterday in Englethwaite signal dropped from 4g to H+ to H to E in a matter of seconds and TV signal not great either. ).

Re: Weather
Very misty again this morning, should be dry for most of today but rain is moving up to get to us by teatime. Trees around us are already turning to autumnal colours, the weather over the next week looks set to match that. We're heading for the east coast in a couple of days, packing my winter woolies

Re: Weather
The rain arrived early this morning in big lumps. It woke us up but muttly was snoring loudly as per normal. Maybe he thinks I won’t take him out if he is asleep.
We are moving farther north today starting our slow drift n/e finishing our last two nights in Derbyshire. Any plans en route will be weather dependent. There are places we can visit if it’s raining leaving muttly in the van.
Porridge first then a short walk before packing up.

After yesterday's glorious weather in Crieff its not looking as good today, although still warm at high of 20, there a very good chance of rain later but its dry at the moment.

Re: Weather
The rain had stopped as we left St Davids but as we moved up the coast the mist came down making driving challenging in places. To my horror there were numerous cars with no lights on never mind rear fog lights. At one point a numpty in a Focus slammed on his breaks and crossed the road into a pub car park. The car behind us ended up on the grass verge to avoid rear ending us.
I stopped to make sure everyone was ok. The other car driver said leave it with him in a rather strong voice. I took the hint not wanting get involved in any agro.
Apparently it’s supposed to be better weather tomorrow so we are going inland to do some sightseeing. One place will be Strata Florida.

Look at the inscription on the bench outside - the lack of punctuation renders it very funny.

Big drop in temp this morning in Crieff, only 9° rising to a high of only 16 this afternoon. Dry at moment, slight chance of rain.

The forecast rain never arrived yesterday but we won't be so lucky today, bright now but it will not last. It's also much cooler today getting up to a high of 15°c. Got a few things to pick up at the shops but the thermals are packed for tomorrow. Enjoy your travels if away.
