Hot sticky night at Horncastle.  Apparently there was rain in the night but I didn't hear it. Rain is forecast between 10 and 12 today with temp high of 22 but we move on again today to THS at Darley Dale.

Change from the very humid day yesterday

Journey from Horncastle to Darley Dale started drizzly and dark but sun broke through later and once at Darley it was scorching but after around 7 it clouded over temp dropped a lot and by bedtime it was rather cool. This morning is looking bright and sunny again temp 14 rising to 20.

Another cool dawn walk with Tag, still dry ,no rain on the forecast.

Lovely sunny warm day spent at Fairhaven lake, Lytham yesterday. Decided to have a quick run in the van along Blackpool seafront front before returning to site for tea since havnt been for about 15 years.

All lovely until we passed the Tower heading north, looking for right turn to get away from sea front, road closed by dozens of Police in riot gear, lots of police vehicles and at least 8 mounted officers, spent next 20 minutes skirting police exclusion zone watching occasional fight between so called patriots and presumably the other team who I guess must the non patriots, to find route back to site.

Apparently lots of stories on social and local media but we were blissfully unaware until we drove into it.

But cooler this morning, now sitting outside Black sheep wools near Warrington while management replenishes her stock of wool for winter projects, seems to be annual ritual. I have been told her social media for the wool shop says there is a garden centre near by with highly recommended roast lunch on Sunday, so looking forward to that.

Overcast with slight drizzle now. Back at site as past few days has caught up with management and she needs some chill time.

Lunch nearly beat me, think a slice of toast will see me out for rest of today. Highly recommend Bents Garden World near Leigh.

Been a busy few days, stayed warm and dry which has ben great for a great deal of painting, cleaning etc prior to a cash buyer viewing on the house next week, that would be perfect if they want this house.
Forecast remains warm and dry for now and in to next week so it is hedge cutting, grass mowing and we should be done.

Stayed warm but overcast, brief sunshine , bbq ‘ d a couple of fillet steaks this afternoon, washed down with a couple of San Miguel’s.

A nice bright start with a slight breeze. As much as I complained about being uncomfortable during the hot weather our son was working in a pub kitchen during the heat wave. If that wasn’t bad enough it was school holidays and they were packed out. There were people sat outside half an hour before they opened at eleven in the morning most days.

Dry overnight and rather dull this morning. Weather app showing cloudy all day but temp up to 24 (17 at moment ) so maybe a muggy day for our travel home.

Think yesterdays front has now continued East as blue sky and only light breeze here today.

Cloudy at dawn, sunrise at 5.35, nice cool breeze coming of the coast, must have rained during the night, enjoyable walk with Tag along the prom.

Dull and overcast today, good office day which is giving the bones a rest.

Warm muggy day yesterday, pleasant afternoon parked up at Fair haven Lakes with back doors open looking out over Ribble estuary to Southport. Sone rain overnight but glorious warm sunny morning now. Off to RHS Bridgewater today.

Have a safe drive down to Lakes Tony.

An overcast but warm start today. I remembered to put the fan on at bed time so I managed a better nights sleep. I never thought predicting the weather would control the medication I take but it’s better than having to be on as much medication as some people including management. 
After  our morning walk I will get the van ready for off tomorrow. Keeping the van ready to go means it won’t take long. We did a top up shop yesterday including muttlies dinners. 
Because our avenue becomes a car park during the day I will move the van off the drive when it’s clear after tea.

Overnight rain, showers around dawn ,still overcast, mild at 22 degrees .

A lovely bright and warm day here and we are ready for off once muttlie has had a short walk.

Beautiful down at Falmouth yesterday, didn't seem to be too many visitors, talking to the locals it has been that way all season so comfortable to park. On the other hand the roads are heaving so the visitors must be going somewhere!
Overcast this morning, a little overnight rain but not enough to stop outdoor plans.
