A warm if a little cloudy day so far here. The shed repairs are planned for this afternoon whilst the weather is decent.
Thinking that we havnt had a day out for a while we are going to Brodsworth Hall tomorrow. If I have got the dates sorted there should be a band playing in the afternoon. It’s very British sitting on the lawn with a picnic whilst the band is playing. The weather dosnt matter too much but it will be nice if we don’t need our brollies.

Nice gardens at Brodsworth, visited a few years ago and would have liked to visit again having been up and down A1 at Doncaster over the past couple of weeks but time wasn't in my favour with management wanting to do other things. Always next year!

Keeping with the theme, Google's weather forecasts are as useful as a chocolate teapot. We've had showers since the get go so all outside work has been halted (the painter had plans but she's indoors organising me instead  biggrin)

The weather held out to allow us get started on the repairs. Typically regarding me and wood things it was worse than I thought so we ran out of wood. To be honest an afternoon crawling down the side of the shed amongst the spiders and brambles was enough for me.
The naibors end fence is well past it so I might leave the rest until the old fence is down making access a bit easier at that end.

Good morning all, yes it doesn't feel like July at all. Cloudy start again and the promise of it becoming brighter later..... again. We'll see  twiddle_thumbs

A nice bright and warm start to the day so hopefully we should have a nice day out. Muttly can’t go in at Brodsworth and he wouldn’t be comfortable sat in the sun so I will take him for a longer walk before we go.
I was thinking we would be taking the van but it’s not really worth it. It will be busy with it being a nice day and the band this afternoon. We are away for a couple of nights next week so that will give it a run out.
Typically the day we decide to go west the M180 is closed near Scunthorpe. No matter the scenic route through Gainsborough will make a change.

Cloudy but bright today, already 17°c but only getting up to about 20°c. Some rain further up the west coast but it probably won't get down this far (emphasis on probably Whistle1)

It looks like the weather people are getting closer to the forecasting this week. It was a muggy night and it’s getting warm already this morning.
After the repairs on Saturday and our day out yesterday I think a day of chilling out today is a good idea. The chairs and picnic hamper need to go back in the van. Whilst I am in there it will be a good idea to open the big roof vent if it’s going to be a hot day.

Not a cloud in the sky in North Yorkshire (on tour) and already 21° rising to a high of 26°. light breeze to cool it down a bit. I'm not a fan of hot weather but could do with one.

Clear blue skies and warming up nicely, shame we have a dentist appointment. Also need to buy some bottled water, sounds easy but it is a hot commodity down as SW water quality has been awful, what comes out of the taps is either cola or lime juice depending on how lucky you are.

we are away in North Yorkshire for a couple of nights next week. If the weather behaves we are going to be within walking distance of three pubs distance depending on how hot it is the nearest being 100yds.

Good morning. Looks like a repeat of yesterday's weather with lots of cloud and sunny breaks. There's a fairly strong breeze blowing so the temperature will only get up to 19°c. No rain though so that's a bonus. I was the gardener's assistant yesterday, filling 9 black bags full of clippings from pruned vegetation and taking them for recycling. I suspect there's more getting done today  think_smiley_46

Also a repeat of yesterday here but we move on today to coast where the prediction is a very  slightly cooler day of 22 with zero chance of rain. That's suits me fine.

Sounds good Paul, enjoy your day.
Silly season started down here so staying away from the emmets, have to go to the opticians this afternoon for a check, no worries, I can see as far as the sun so must be OK. Talking of which lovely morning, bright blue skies and in the 20's all ready, looks like being a hottie. Just a bit of paintwork to wash down today and clean off a balcony, that'll do for the day.
Have a great day all allthumbz

I hope it goes as well as my wife’s pair (…. Of cataracts !) Ian.

She says it’s quite miraculous.
