Re: Weather
The forecast of light rain for a couple of hours turned into heavy rain we into the afternoon yesterday. Brighter today with a high of 15°c and dry so good walking weather. Breaking myself in gently though after a winter of sitting on my whatsit

Sunny start and calm but suspect it won't last. Hope to get some painting done this morning, should dry before the weather changes.

Re: Weather
The wind seemed to have eased off this morning but was drizzling so we didn’t go too far. Not just muttly not liking being wet I had to get back and get motivated to finish the painting.
It’s still overcast by lunch time but brighter and we are finished. Putting the bedroom back together will include chucking things out rather than putting junk back. The under bed storage is a good idea but it’s surprising how much is hiding in there.

Re: Weather
First BBQ on the road this year yesterday, we had a lovely view of the full moon last night and a very colourful sunset. Very cold overnight, thank goodness for van heaters, but a bright clear morning with good sunshine today. Bit knackered after our walk yesterday but the boots are coming out again today.

Re: Weather
Sounds perfect Tony, make the most of the sunshine. Lovely morning down here again,13 degrees and blue sky but clouding over a little now.Much hotter in the sunshine.
Trying to get as far ahead as possible with jobs for the year as we will be travelling a lot later, maybe squeeze in a local trip in the van soon though, all you travellers are getting me inspired.

Re: Weather
The wind is still from the North/ North East so it’s been a cold day with occasional showers. Even so it seems quite bright.
We walked down for me to see the foot lady this morning and then called in get my wig trimmed. Rather than coming home we decided to have lunch out. Unfortunately there are very few places other than the precinct cafe,Macdonalds or a plastic pub. There is a place called Vittles on the outskirts of town so we went there. I had an all day breakfast toasted sandwich and management had a toasted Tuna sandwich. It was a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I believe they have a cafe in Hull as well.

Re: Weather
Morning Boaby
Lovely morning. Sunny with a clear blue sky. Bit fresh, only 4 degrees but that will go up as the day goes on.
Off the Newcastle for a couple of nights so hoping the weather stays dry.
Take care all.

Thanks Boaby. Nice and bright again but it looks like it might be all change tomorrow so we're off for another ramble today whilst the sun is shining. Moving to a different location tomorrow, only problem I have is the Aldi has not had any Steinhouser for weeks

Re: Weather
Morning all
More cloudy down here today chance of rain and currently 9 degrees. Off to Trago Mills today with a big list of shopping and Lidl for water so jumped in the car, battery nearly flat and now on charge. The problem when it spends so much time sat in the garage and only does mainly very short trips.
Safe travels all on the road and have a great day all

Re: Weather
Good morning folks. Looks like another fine day with broken cloud and a high of 14°c. No walks for me today (thank goodness ) as the old bones are creaking (well, I hope it's my bones ).
I'll need to replace my windscreen wipers so was doing some checking on t'internet. Is there a second worst website than Halfords (B&Q win the top award ), totally hopeless.

Re: Weather
Another cold gray start to the day. Not my favorite start to the day because of a visit to the dentist but it was unfounded because he sorted a minor problem. It should have been an annual inspection but a filling fell out at Easter. He said he would sort it whist I was there and tidy up a long standing broken tooth.
As I have said before compared to the treatment from the army dentist and his predecessor he is quick and pleasant in his manner. He did say I should think about future treatment of a couple of broken teeth resulting from them being badly filled in the past.
When I went to the cake shop for lunch butties the rain turned to sleet for a couple of minutes. I hope the wind changes this weekend. It will be chilly at Robin Hood’s bay with the wind in this direction.
