Quite right Tony this thread should be for weather only. Sorry to hear you have rain, personally I blame breggsit.

We had some rain overnight but dry now, rather cool at  13° rising to 15 later. Slim chance of rain. Can't do much today as have BT/openreach/Quinn  engineer coming to put fibre direct to the house.

Been pouring all morning.  Stopped now and some blue patches in the sky as the clouds are breaking up.  12 degrees with not much change forecast.

Heavy overnight rain showers,stopped around dawn for a good walk with Tag. More rain showers this morning .
Have a nice day, lots of local eggs here, 1.75 per half dozen, gone up from ..88p .

Sunny and 17 degrees but quite gusty.  Been some smirry showers but nothing too bad so far.

Bit of a surprise here!! This at 1060m. Therefore not Norfolk!!

Long johns and simmit on Ian, dried up , wind has ramped up though.

Next to us are a Dutch couple who live in a Carribbean Island. Spend 6 months there, 6 months in van in Europe.

They're used to 30c and normally travel south when in Europe.

5c and rain here today!!! Bloody expensive place to buy clothes too!

Grandsons 10th birthday so down for weekend, went to the skate park yesterday followed by a walk now he and Lady G are playing badminton in the garden. Great to see so many children out exercising instead of playing video games.
Stayed sunny and warm so happy days.

BBetter morning in Sauda, now in Haugesund so Norwegian drizzle,,,,,,again!

12 degrees and dull (bit like my mood at the moment). 

Power went out in the house this morning, according to the RCD it was the sockets.  Traced it to the washing machine - the Boss was running it on the highest setting.  Of course, it had tripped part way through the cycle when it was full of almost boiling water.  Only way to get into the plug was to drain it from the teeny weeny filter outlet.

An hour later and one scalded hand, pulled the plug and lo and behold all the power came on again.  Plugged it in and it went off again so think the Machine is kaput...

Use it on 30c and next time won't burn your hands. You can always make a negative into a positive!!

Now, in return for my kind help, please stop it raining in Norway.

Brighter this morning but colder at 8 degrees.  Forecast is for an overcast day with temps reaching around 13.

Tried my best for you Ian but not sure if my psychic weather changing powers reach Norway - apparently it was lovely half way over the North Sea.....

Ah yes: read 7 novels when waiting for rain to stop in Norway! No point in driving when mist hides the views. Mind you, when it stopped the waterfalls were spectacular!

Hope your gin etc stock is bearing up: you don’t want to buy in Norway!

But I still envy the trip. We’re off to Rudesheim in a fortnight.

Ps: cloudless and 13C here, after overnight showers. A day cutting ivy, I fear.

Rain started around lunchtime yesterday and didn't stop for the rest of the day. Carried on through the night with some torrential periods which woke me with the sound of it. It's dry now and bright sunshine but still a good chance of more rain today. Temp 8° now and rising to 13.
