Bright and breezy here today, still cold, 5c.

Routine hosp visit today so bus from Wroxham, lesson learned, never take a car to a hospital, this is also free and I don't have to park it!

0630 this morning woodpeckers were hammering away and a loud dawn chorus which was great to hear, turned quite mizzly now. Still mild though.

All the usual suspects said it would be dry yesterday morning, all the usual suspects were wrong....again. Today is forecast to be dry and windy this morning with rain this afternoon but who knows shrugg

At least I can give a reasonable shot at the temperature, very decent 12°c. Shopping day for us. Dentist was fine yesterday, 35 mins in the chair. Can't say the same about the person operating the vacuum must have been a big game fisher in a previous life Whistle1

Must be getting close to the wire GH so bon voyage up!

Well, it was a good plan...then the EV only bus arrived!! Am sitting in the emergency exit seat in case it catches fire!!! hugegrins

It must have been raining earlier because the paths and grass were wet but the cold breeze has eased off.
From my days working for Stagecoach here I can’t see them having electric buses yet. They were still running the remains of the Roadcar fleet they took over. The shunter fuelers would be glad of electric buses. Re fueling all the buses in the evenings was a thankless smelly job.
I hope your hospital visit wasn’t too traumatic Ian. Yes the Currywurst was staple diet for squaddies in Germany. It wasn’t unusual for me to finish work after the cookhouse had closed so rather than brave a NAFFI pie a trip across the road to the Imbis was a better move.

10 degrees here this morning and dull. No rain forecast so hopefully might stay dry as it's shopping day today. On the bright side Ian - if it does go up in flames it'll heat you up hugegrins

The weather forecast says it's raining here right now, looking put the window, there's not a cloud in the sky. Guess somebody must be getting it. 8°c today so down a little but not too bad. Few things to fix today so need to get my repair man head on.

A brighter and definitely milder day considering it’s February. Saying that by the time I moved the van over and emptied the cassette or dumped the dunny as the Aussies say my hands are stiff and cold. Neoprene gloves might keep the gunk out but do nothing for keeping your pinkies warm.
No matter that’s the van ready for our next trip were ever it may take us. I am sure management will come up with a plan. girl-thinking

Nice dry morning, lovely run up to Whitby, fish suppers on the harbour wall, ( ruddy gulls) Tag had a good run along the beach,spent a few hours at Sandsend..

So much for washing the van - got the hose and brush out, got the bucket full of soapy water and the polish at the ready and...........the heavens opened and it hasn't really stopped since...typical.

Still raining this morning, and it's on for the day, but at least it's mild getting up to 10°c. Nothing planned so a quiet day with the Sundays methinks (although what shethinks might alter that snigger

) Bit of a gasp at the price of Olive Oil in the shops, might have to be less cavalier with the salad dressings shrugg

A bright but chilly breeze this morning for our morning ramble. There was nobody out first thing but after dropping son in laws birthday card at their house we called in Lidl for lunch bits and it was packed. Normally there’s two tills open and the self checkout but there were three tills open and the self checkout que was half way up the store.
As much as I try to encourage daughter to look after her car and help her out like the saga of her tyres she comes out with bombshell questions. Today she asked if her car would pass its MOT when the handbrake dosnt work. censored!

Down in the Black Country at Sons home, it's really windy and rather cool. He inherited some Koi in a large pool when he moved into this house just before Christmas along with a Sturgeon called Nicola which is massive, wow you should see it.!

Morning all,

Rained all day yesterday. Dry at the moment and 10 degrees but very windy with gusts of 40mph. Rain forecast for later in the afternoon.

Light showers overnight, dry and breezy this morning, ideal conditions for a good long walk with Tag, wind ramping up now ,wheelie bins on the move again.
Cold weather to come in overnight with snow forecasted.
