We are certainly getting a good mix of weather but I suppose that’s typical uk winter. It’s chucking down today so I don’t think we will going far apart from a quick wobble up the the road.
I think management mentioned Christmas decorations today. We have a tree in a pot we bring in from the garden but it might be a bit soggy. Muttly takes a couple of days to get used to having a tree in the house. christmastree

Similar start to the day as yesterday, overcast and dry at 7°c. There was a bit of a red sky as the sun came up so I guess we have another rainy day in prospect.

Take care folks

7° and rain again. Rain is supposed to stop around 11 , if it does then a walk down town is in order as the town has made a lot of effort to put on Christmas Market both outdoor and indoor and lots of shops that don't normally open on a Sunday will be open.

Miserable morning, grey and windy, mild though at 13 degrees. Shame as Falmouth is having a winter weekend with ice rink, snow machine and a festive land train going round the town, certainly not the weather to enjoy it.
No great plans for the day, car is going for an MOT tomorrow so a quick check over called for, though I am confident it should pass.
Have a great day all allthumbz

Good luck with the MOT GH. Rain has started here and looks to be on for the long haul. So dark that we've had to switch the house lights on, maybe it would be cheaper if I used my head torch biggrin

Morning all,

Rain eventually stopped last night.  Bit cooler this morning at 5 degrees.  Overcast but the forecast is for the sun to make an appearance later on this morning at some point.

Take care if you're out and about

Only drizzle rather than full on rain this morning. Forecast same for rest of today. Just over a week now till shortest daylight sunrise here due at 8.40, sunset 15.30 so think lights in house will be on all day

Have a good day. Time for a bacon sandwich and nice cuppa now.

A bacon sandwich is making me jealous, would slip down nicely right now.
Car dropped off for MOT and a decent walk home, dry and fairly sunny so ideal conditions, just have to raise the energy to walk back later and collect it.
Have a great day all.👍

I didn't leave the house, my wife cuts my hair and a very good job she does (just in case she reads this  snigger) We had a washing out but, although the weather was dry with a bit of sun, the stuff was still pretty damp when brought in. Got a text from Dental practice to cancel my appointment due to "unforeseen circumstances" (ie Dentist doing his Christmas shopping  happyyes ), next available appointment, end of January   Whistle1

A lovely bright but chilly day meaning we could manage a decent walk this morning. It’s going to be a chilly night because there’s no cloud cover but once we have had our evening walk we can tuck up nice and warm. Maybe a little drink to help keep the chill out. cold

Good job it was a nice day, walked the marathon back home from dropping the car for MOT this morning then walked down again this afternoon to collect the car. "Can't let you have the car back, it failed, front spring broken and brake pipes corroded. So walk home again.
When it is fixed I will of course have to walk back and collect it so I reckon that is about four walks at £250 each, oh well better than a gym membership or the depreciation on a new car. look here

At least you can still walk.....

Nice here today, 12c or so most of it, even polished the car.

Then took it in for a cambelt change tomorrow. Didn't walk, took MH.

Looks good for tomorrow too so maybe it won't get dirty again on the way home... smile!

I certainly got it wrong last night. By the time we went out for our evening walk it was quite mild but thick mist was in the air. This morning it’s grey and damp for a change.
Management is going to see her friend that lives out in the marshes tomorrow so I hope the mist dosnt get too bad. I remember doing a breakdown job in the car park of the Prussian Queen pub on a foggy night out there. It was creepy.
