A lovely bright if a little chilly morning here. Our street is full of kids doing cycle training again. Muttly stood and watched them for ages. Typically because its different he has to work it out before he will move. One of the teachers made a fuss of him so he is ok with things now.
Our junior school did cycle training in the playground if you had a bike, not me. This lot are all wearing cycle helmets and reflective jackets. They look like bright yellow mushrooms. 

Cooler and dry earlier, nice walk with Tag along the promanard ,stayed out for breakfast near the harbour, sun has brought the trippers out and the gulls.

7 degrees and raining steadily, as it has been for most of the night. Rain forecast today and tomorrow

Town Christmas lights switched on this afternoon along with market at the cross. Afraid it will be a wash out which is a shame as community council are putting a real effort into things like this and gala week in June.

Really heavy rain and winds here overnight too! Still a thick sea fret/ har along the coast and up into the estates,should clear later.

Heavy rain overnight, now stopped under leaden sky. Glad I cleared the gulley. 12C so mild. Looking forward to tonight: 50 years ago we moved to this village, and made lifelong friendships with 2 other couples. Tonight the 6 of us are going out to celebrate that friendship. I've compiled a digital album of photos to show us.

8 degrees and drizzly.  Forecast is for proper rain.  No plans for today so we shall see what it brings.

Much warmer here today, 11°, mixed sun and showers, like to wander down town for a tour of the market on a Saturday but will see how weather progresses.

A nice morning in Southport after heavy rain yesterday and overnight, looks black in all directions though.

Down to a miserable 22°c today and dropping to 19° later, we're really in for a shock next week  I think I now understand what the term "silver surfers" really means. One of our pet hates, people gabbling over phones or scrolling them and ignoring companions in restaurants. Used to be just young folk but it seems oldies have got the bug

A grey misty day here. It was a bit disjointed this morning so we only managed a short walk. He knew there was something happening so he didn’t really want to go out.
Our son invited us out for breakfast with our daughter because he is working on her birthday tomorrow. We have been asking were and when we are going out for days with no reply. This morning daughter said we were going to one place and then son said we were going to another place.
The pub daughter suggested is terible. The place our son suggested is a pancake place in town. We made a decision for them and went to another pub and had a nice breakfast.
Amidst this chaos managements friend was trying to organize their trip to York on Monday. To add to this her family in Australia want to talk to her about her sister.
All phones were turned off whist we had breakfast.

Lovely mild autumn morning with light breeze. Good day for outside jobs. Packing and checking van later in preparation for setting off to London on Wednesday morning.

10 degrees here and overcast.  Rain was quite heavy last night.  Take care driving down to London on Wednesday BB.   Enjoy your last few days in the sun Tony - can you not pack some up and bring it home with you, could be using it here...

Bright but windy here. It makes a pleasant change not to have grey clouds and rain.

Like Groundhog Day - 10 degrees again and raining. At least it's dark and I can't see the rain, just a pity I need to go out in it soon......

Not to bad at all Boaby.  Weather cleared up a bit but it got a bit warm and humid in the office, had to open the windows.

Still dry at the moment.  Taking the Boss to the doctors again tomorrow so hoping it stays dry for that.

Morning Boaby.  Fair bit colder this morning.  3 degrees but it is dry and clear with no rain forecast.

Hope everything went well at the dentist BB.

4 degrees and cloudy, but dry day forecast. No problem at dentist, customer service definitely up a notch since they invited us to join their private list earlier this year ( or find a dentist still offering NHS)

Because of London trip tomorrow I am missing concert this weekend with the better if the orchestras I play in, last rehearsal last night and soloist joined us for Rachmaninoff piano concerto no2 (the one used in film Brief Encounter)..what an awesome night, still buzzing this morning

Back at the ranch Still, bright and sunny if a little colder than we've been used to. Washing machine will be getting big licks
