7 degrees this morning and a bit overcast. Should brighten up later to around 14 degrees. Looks like it's going to be sunny all day.

9° here and sunny start, rising to 16 later with only the slightest chance of a shower. Getting bus from right outside site into Criccieth today (Welsh bus passes so that's us sorted).

Enjoy your trips guys and hope the weather is ok.

We had a great holiday camping at Tyddyn Llwyn back in the 80s (although I don't think it was called that then). Loved the area Turned into a lovely day, bright sunshine and 18°c. Hope it keeps up for the next few days.

Re: Weather
The Lynn Peninsula has become one of our favourite areas. Went into Criccieth, not much along High St but lovely promenade, Castle up on clifftop. Tuesday is 'closing' day so even cafes shut but did find one down by prom. Got the bus back but carried on through to Pwllheli for lunch . Beautiful sunny day although a chilly breeze .

Sea/ har cleared by 11a.m picked up some things from Harfords then of to Filey Brigg, turned out nice, although there was a cool breeze coming of the sea.

Morning Boaby,
Nice day and work - two phrases which should never be used in the same sentence.
6 degrees her at the moment with the forecast being sunny all day and getting hot. Working from home today so might even take the laptop out to the van and work from there (be much easier then waxing it like wot GH is doing )
Have a good day folks

Re: Weather
Dry and about 75% cloud. Day off today going to buy a phormium so I am told then coffee out and a walk along the clifftops on the north coast.
Waxing the van is an ongoing job for when I have a half hour slot spare which is not often so it gets done a bit at a time.
Promised rain later.

Posting via the dongle from Fraisthorpe beach, although windy it's turned out nice, the Cowshed was to busy so we had our own pieces.
Have a good trip out Tony, we would have be been away too,but had re schedule appointments due to strikes in the area, hopefully get away in a few weeks to Whitby.

Re: Weather
Thanks Boaby, warm and sunny up here but the cold easterly is taking the edge off. Easy trip up but just spent the last hour fixing the stuck toilet flush. If I had been standing in all that sludge, I would have been stuck too Just got a few drawer catches to fix, as per

Re: Weather
Woke up to a lovely bright if breezy morning on the sea front at Girvan. Our morning walk long the prom was very pleasant but the sand blowing about made muttly sneeze. The sea air must have done him good because he slept all the way to Loch Doon castle.
It’s a lovely afternoon if still breezy but the views up the Loch from our pitch are amazing. Hopefully the weather will hold tomorrow so we can walk down to the cafe for lunch.

Turned out gorgeous, windy but non-stop sun. Drove to our two favourite beaches, Aberdaron and Porthor ,both National Trust with free parking for members. Re: Weather
The mention of Aberdaron brings back memories for me. When I was little mum and dad rented a cottage. Our transport then was a Fordson 15 cwt van. My little sisters pram handle was fastened to the inside handle of the back doors to keep them shut. Grandma and Grandad in arm chairs and me and a collie running riot all the way from Saddleworth.
I have been back a few times and it dosnt seem to have changed much apart from the cottage having no back garden or the steps down to the beach.

Re: Weather
Much the same start as yesterday, bright, sunny but a bit chilly. Last night the wind whipped up a lot but with a clear sky and the little light pollution here, the amount of stars was unbelievable.
Hoping for another sunny day like yesterday, forecast is the same.

Re: Weather
Blue skies and an easterly breeze, a good day for getting out to do some more painting.
Viewing another house at lunchtime, much smaller place, it will be hard to downside but Hog Castle is getting more and more work to keep it as we would want. We shall see what happens.
Enjoy your travels everyone and stay well.

Re: Weather
A lovely bright cloudless day here. I walked off site to a stream that runs under the road whilst muttly sniffed about for a while. All we could hear was the rustling of the trees in the breeze and the occasional woolly bleating.
We bought some potato scones and thick bacon to have for breakfast so that will top us up for this mornings walk.
It looks like our trip will finish with rain on Sunday but it won’t matter by then as long as the A19 isn’t too bad on Monday.
