Re: Weather
More of the same as yesterday here, BBQ weather and the beer is in the fridge. Got roped into some of the heavy garden work so I might get the day off, then again........
Take it easy whatever you're up to.

Sunshine and warm with pleasant day ahead. Busy playing in concerts for next two weekends so think we will take the chance and go to St Andrews for the day in the van.
Have a good day

Re: Weather
Warn sunshine breaking through the light cloud, looks like another sunny day to come, this weather looks to be sticking around for some time so bring it on! Very concerned though about the shortages of water and many of our trees are looking stressed, I fear we will be losing quite a few!
Enjoy your travels all and good you are getting back to normal Boaby.
Have a great day all

11 degrees and sunny this morning and should be sunny and hot all day. Think a wee run in the van is called for today.

Re: Weather
Beautiful sunrise, with very little in the way of any cloud, good walk with Tag along the coastal path to Sewerby woods and back for a spray.
Rolls and bacon out the back garden ,under a parasol, sit back and watch the parachutists jumping out of the wee plane.
Have a nice day BBQ later.

Re: Weather
Overcast and cooler again this morning. Management complaining of sunburned knees after day trip to St Andrews yesterday despite using factor 50.
Not as busy as I expected given the glorious weather lots of activity on the beach. Old Hymer A class parked two along from us, unfortunately when we were heading back to Tay Bridge we passed it in a laybye with warning triangle behind so possibly not a perfect day for owners. Did see a hired 7metre plus Roller team get into difficuly having driven in the exit of the golf museum car park.
Off to fix rattling blind in side door with rivnuts. Have a good day.

Re: Weather
Yet another cloudless day in the West: stayed in Mwnt for the last few nights and now at Tresaith. No rain for last 3 weeks.
Had a great time in Urdd Eisteddfod last week at Llanymddyfri [Llandovery]. Stayed at CCC site at Rhandirmwyn, which was of course absolutely full because of the nearby Eisteddfod. Disappointed to find, on our first stay at a CCC site in Wales, that all signs were not bilingual (unlike CAMC sites in Wales). Equally disappointed that no acknowledgement of nearby Eisteddfod despite the site being able to exploit it at over £40 per night. All other sites / buildings in locality were bedecked in celebration. My email expressing such disappointment received the predicted brush-off.
Fabulous weather, but goodness knows how my vegetable patch is doing! Enjoy it if you can.

Re: Weather
Looks like another warm day up to 20 (reached 23 yesterday). Drove 75miles each way yesterday to meet up with sons family, really surprised how light the traffic was seeing it was end of half term, only saw a couple of caravans and same number of motorhomes. Expected hoards to be making their way home,, maybe leaving it to the very last day.

Re: Weather
Well, our garden certainly suffered during our two weeks abroad. My wife uses upturned 2ltr plastic bottles, with the bottoms removed and filled with water, to keep pots hydrated. Even so, some were really struggling.
Looks like a repeat of yesterday, clear, sunny and hot
Enjoy your day whatever you're up to and safe travels to those on the move.

Re: Weather
Kept off the roads this weekend, start of the AZAB (Azores and back) yacht race from Falmouth yesterday, expect the town was very busy. Nice walk round the village this morning, just a couple of dog walkers about and as we passed the church the bells were ringing loudly, lovely, we are so lucky to live here.
Coffee now, then on with an hours polishing of the roof above screen on the van. Taking it a bit easy today.
Forgot.... the weather.... warm, sunny and a light breeze, pretty idyllic really!

Re: Weather
Bright but still a bit chilly in the breeze. A good day to pressure wash the decking because it’s dried quickly. Tomorrow I will start re treating it. I don’t think there’s enough gunk to cover all the decking but we need to get a food shop in and Screwfix is on route to Sainsburys.

10 degrees and overcast this morning but the forecast is for much of the same as the weekend - pity I'll be in an office and will only see it through a window.....
