Heavens have opened several times here, temp steadily falling from 13 at 9am to 8 at 2pm. Sunshine between the downpours.

Re: Weather
Been breezy all day, management has done two lots of washing which have now had a blow in the fresh air and are dry. Duvet covers ready to go back on quilts in van, will leave that wrestling match for another day.
Forecast wet for rest of week with frost overnight Thursday.

Re: Weather
5 degrees and wet - feels a lot colder.
Forecast is to brighten up today (when I'm in the office) and rain later (when I'm on the way home).
Think I'll finish early today

Morning Dave, take care at work, dried up nicely overnight after yesterday's thunder and lightning , hailstones and rain for about half an hour, smashed all the daffy, bluebells etc.
Good walk with Tag earlier, back in for a spray then some porridge.

Re: Weather
Crept up to 6°c and a bit sunny for us late risers We might get some showers and it might get a bit warmer later but the tendency is for it to get much colder and wetter overnight. I'm out for a chinwag
Take care folks

Re: Weather
Murky with a bit of rain this morning, good day for getting a few things together to reload in to the van.
Looks like next week could be a good un so maybe grab a few days away, thinking Cotswolds, Snowdonia or the Peak District. That said I can fly from Newquay to Spain with Ryanair, two people from £20 each one way. Saw a site near Balla Lake that wanted £45 for a pitch for the night, makes you wonder!
Maybe a good day for a bit of research
Have a great day all

As an ex aviation person GH you should know some of the basic and quite unbreakable rules...
1 Always take-off and land into wind....
2 Never, ever fly Pikie!!!
Sunny and breezy here, very cold as it always is if the word EAST is in any part of the wind direction desctription...

Golden rule anything over 3 hours flight time cattle class is not on the menu.
If I had to pick the best budget airlines of the big UK ones it would have to be Jet2 top then Ryanair then easyjet.

Re: Weather
Nice starlite chilly morning after another night of heavy rain and gales, not as bad as some on the west coast.
Good walk with Tag ,had his crawls trimmed yesterday,so he's abit raw on one or two of them.
Nothing on this morning,so back under the duvet for a couple of hours.
Have a nice day, take care if you're on the move.

Morning Boaby,
High overnight winds seem to have died down a bit but it's very cold with drizzly rain. Thermometer says 3 degrees but I think it's telling lies....

Re: Weather
Up to 6°c now and quite sunny after a night of high winds and heavy rain. It looks like us folk in greater Weegieland are going to miss the worst of today's stormy weather with sunshine and showers the forecast. It being so, the boss may want to go out for lunch, always a joy during the school holidays

Re: Weather
Scary wind yesterday evening but all went as quickly as it came. Some light rain overnight. Sunshine this morning and 6°.
By 10.30 temp dropped to 3° and we had sleet for half an hour, now sun back out.

Re: Weather
A bright start today but it was certainly a bit breezy and wet yesterday evening but we missed the worst of it being in the corner of the site behind a high banking on the windward side. Muttlies evening walk was a bit damp and he only made it to the gate for the dog walk before hunkering down next to the hedge.
We had thought of calling at Carlisle castle on route today but it will depend if this weather has blown its self out by then. If not we have alternative plans to maybe go straight to the next stopover.

Re: Weather
Blowing straight off the Atlantic today, wouldn't want to be on a boat today. Mainly sunny and dry at the moment but heavens could open at any time by the look of the sky. Couple of little jobs on the van today if it stays dry long enough otherwise not much going on.

4 degrees and overcast this morning. To stay like this for most of the day with some showers later on. Shopping day today, let's see how many empty shelves there are this week...

Up to 6°c here and a little brighter and dry just now. Still expecting showers over the course if the day. Shopping day for us, still finding XL eggs hard to find and there are always other items in short supply. Last week it was teabags

Re: Weather
Horrific rain overnight but fortunately dry now. Usual flooding spots on way to town were filling up with water this morning.
Had to go to Screwfix to get some rodent poison as we have signs of little visitors since we got back from weekend away. Put down some out of date rodenticide in a tray last night and half of it gone this morning. Up the ante today with fresh bait.

Re: Weather
Clear blue skies at the moment, 10 minutes ago it was chucking it down with rain but at least the wind has died down. Plenty to do outside but in this weather can't really make any progress.
Have to order new tyres and still thinking about where to head to in a couple of weeks, waiting for the weather forecast the decide.

Sunny and blue sky here but wind is still howling. Busy day, shopping, lunch out (Carol's birthday - official OAP now, was a long time coming after they moved the goalposts) and afternoon tea , made by me.
