Drying up after night of heavy rain showers, no snow or frost, lovely dawn chorus earlier whilst walking Tag around the playing fields towards the coastal path.
More greenfinch and mavis this year than the previous few years, not noticed any Bullfinches though, probably because the old orchards have been cut down to make way for new housing on the north side of town.

Fairly bright and 9°c this morning, there was a fall of light snow last night but it's all gone now. Sun is starting to break through so it should hopefully warm up a little as the day goes on. Porridge then out for the Sundays.

Hope your feeling OK BB, get stuck into the paracetamol (if Boabys prescription doesn't work that is  )

12 degrees here this morning, dry and bright with sun trying to break through, no wind to speak of.
All change though, the forecast for tomorrow is strong winds and heavy rain showers, ideal for the visitors landing in a small aeroplane at Newquay in the morning.

7° here and thawing nicely,  rain forecast this afternoon and heavy by this evening,  at least that should wash any remaining snow away.

Really wet night with gales coming up from the s/w , branches coming of the trees, milder though.
Brief walk with Tag, get him out along the shore later.

Normal service from the Atlantic conveyor has been resumed: gale gusting to mid 50mph and heavy rain. Mild. The daffs are knocked over. Might not walk to the village after all.....

Wet and windy night and temperature of 11 during the night, complete clearance of any remaining snow. Yellow warning for snow and ice (with these temperatures!  ) and also yellow warning for floods. Predicted to fall to 2° tonight. Temperatures all over the place.

We had very strong winds last night, today it's still blowing a hoolie with driving rain. Definitely not a day for venturing out. 9°c now but dropping to -5°c overnight with snow forecast from the North tonight then more from the West on Wednesday

We are in the van now for 3 days on the drive whilst the bathroom is being altered for my wife who has MS,  it’s raining and the wind is blowing terribly strong that the vans rocking temperature around 10 degrees with wind at 55mph forecast through out the day

Wind has really ramped up now ,over 50 mph with a fine drizzle, managed a wee donder with Tag after breakfast.town very busy, lots of motorhomes and caravans on the coast roads.

Heavy rain and gales throughout the night, cleared by 4, long enough to get Tag a good walk along the promanard to watch the waves crashing against the harbour walls, winds are cooler and from the n/e.

Laid in bed in the  van, not opened the blinds yet but can tell its very windy and raining

We've had some snow flurries overnight with a little lying but not enough to be troublesome. It's very still and the sky is clear though, -1°c just now and climbing to 5°c later. Roads should be clear so no problem getting out for my weekly blether.

Light cloud this morning, family made it here after a five hour delay because it was too windy at Newquay. St Makes and Mevagissey today for coffee and a pasty at lunch time.

Feeling more like myself this morning for first time since  Saturday,  had a couple of days in bed with full strength analgesics, haven't felt need for painkillers this morning so far so will see how it goes. Can't taste anything g and feel washed out but definitely on mend. Last year when felled with covid I had shingles as well, managed to avoid that this time!

Woke to heavy snow falling which didn't lie,  now bright sunshine and clear sky.
