Re: Weather
Bit blowy here. Decided to give the grass a cut, emptied the collector bin and put it on the ground to wrap the cable up and had to chase the flaming thing half way down the road when the wind caught it.....
Still bright at the moment but the clouds are starting to appear.

13° already here in Zummerzet, only rising to 16. Very wet overnight but stopped for now, more expected throughout the day.

Re: Weather
9°c here and a bit damp, the forecast is for sunshine and showers but the cloudy sky suggests less of the former and more of the latter. Enjoy your travels if away.

Where are you off to this time Tony, I have huge respect for the guys at Jet2, very professional people running it.Askit wrote:Up a degree to 9°c but still overcast, some rain on the forecast but it looks like it may miss us and push further north. Planning for our next trip but this one involves Jet2
Take it easy and enjoy your travels folks.
Hope the check went well Boaby !
Back from the early shop, skies are somewhat overcast with the threat of rain but should be able to get some mowing done. Good news is not cold though. Had a good couple of days away in the van at Polruan, sunny weather but quite a strong wind on the cliff tops so a fair degree of rocking and rolling involved. Left a night early since it was a short drive home and we would have had to leave by 10am the next morning anyway. Campsite was empty apart from us and one other motorhome.
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Bit warmer now, 13 degrees but still overcast and a very slight smir in the air which, hopefully, wont come to much.
Got the power washer out to do the van wheels and the car - managed half before it stopped. Couldn't figure out why as there wasn't a kink in the hose and there was power. Disconnected the hose, plugged the other end onto the tap and it worked perfectly. Stumped as it is a straight hose with no filters or valves
Good to hear the check was fine Boaby, as for losing a few pounds - it's insulation as the warm weather hasn't arrived yet

Re: Weather
We've had a few rather heavy downpours this morning, warm though and brightened up but don't think it will last.

Re: Weather
Bright, cloudy and dry at the moment but there will be rain at some point. It's 11°c so fairly mild this side of Scotland. Nothing much planned for today, wonder if there's anything good on the telly Well, those nice people at the BBC gave us folk up here 3 solid hours of the local election results down south yesterday
Take care folks

Re: Weather
Love that radio 4 did full overnighter for South British parish Council elections or whatever they were and after 9 hours of depriving their top correspondents of sleep by 7am they had less than 10% of results in, so reporters and pundits had another full day of increasingly incoherent repetitive reporting. Hope they were allowed home for some sleep last night.
Misty and windless this morning 9 degrees just now with no noticeable increase in temperature forecast, rain expected.
Have a good day whatever you find to occupy your time. Don't overdo the quiche

Heavy rain through the night and on/off now although sky looks brighter. Not much point going out today as I doubt many places are open.

Cloudy with light showers but warm, not an outside day really. Never mind good telly. Liked the way Ed China modified the gearbox on that Dodge.

Warmed up a fair bit - 17 degrees now and bright with a spot of rain now and again.
Was looking forward to a run but the boss decided we needed to do an additional shop. Shops were quiet too so wasn't too bad.

Cloudy and 11°c, pretty much a repeat of yesterday's weather. Looks like we're stuck with this for the next few days. Think I'll have a rest after all the excitement of yesterday
