Nice early start, dry and overcast with a sea fret/ har heading in over the cliffs, good walk with Tag down the harbour and back in for porridge.
Lovely dawn chorus,mostly Blackies .

2 degrees and sunny this morning.  

Car booked in for an MoT this morning then need to give the van a rinse.  It's covered in white streaks (makes a change from black).  Thought the birds had had a field day then remembered I polished it but the rain started before I managed to finish it off.

Not had many blackies here this year yet but loads of blue, coal and great t ts.

Clear sky again so it's a bit cool out at 5°c. If it heats up like yesterday I might have to dust off the bbq, it got really warm in the sunshine. If the gardener is going to continue outside today I might go and rearrange the dirt on the van.

Take it easy

Great start to the day here too, gardening and then like Tony start the spring clean of the van. Should be a great day for the Emmet's so pleased about that.

Same as yesterday, bright sunny start to day with gentle breeze. Van chores done...dishes, rubbish, drinking water bottles refilled and visit to CWP. Now sitting in sunshine chilling while management has her usual post breakfast sleep to set her up for the day, no sleep , no function.

Culloden CMC is one continuous one way system looping above and below toilet block. Comical watching with several vans moving at same time, all doing 5mph so never catching up, reminds me of super sized kids ride at funfair.

A lovely warmer bright day here today. Typically it looks like our bad luck with weather on our trips is going to follow us next week. From being brought up in the North West we should know better than go to south west Scotland without getting wet. Storms have followed us to Norfolk several times in the past. No matter we are not fixed to destinations so we might be able to dodge the worst of it.

9 degrees and sunny this morning. Only sparrows have made an appearance so far but I can hear a couple of blackies.

You must be in a sunny bit Dave, only 7°c here but the sky is clear so it's bound to heat up some later before the rain clouds drift in for the week ahead. Take it easy with those chocolate eggs now.

Off to Cromer for a beach walk, thereby breaking several of my golden unbreakable rules....Never go anywhere on a bank holiday especially this one....

Cool start , only 7° so far but rising to a tropical 15 later. Sun is shining, slight breeze, blue sky, what more could we want. Happy Easter to all.

Bright sunny morning breaking the rules here too. Off to Falmouth for a walk but the van is staying put as parking will be a problem. Top down in the Z4 is the order of the day.

Enjoy Cromer Ian. You should be able to squeeze into the big car park on the top. We have sat there in the past whilst the wind and rain rocked us about. We didn’t bother trying to walk down for chips when saw the seagulls were struggling to take off and muttly wouldnt go out of the door:sit:

Heading home today, bit more cloud than yesterday but promises to be a nice day. Gentle drive down A9 then lunch at House of Bruar. Roast carvery on Sundays. Van worked perfectly all weekend despite last weekends heating problems and aborted trip to Dunbar.

Stayed cool under the cloud for most of the day, came home around 4 pm and had a steak BBQ, Tag enjoyed a wee dod too.
Forecasted for rain to morrow , so have a nice evening.

Stayed very cloudy and cool yesterday but the brisk wind made it ideal for getting the weekend washing dried. The rain started around 5pm and it appears it's been on and off all night. This morning is quite sunny and 8°c but showers are expected all day, seems to be the story of the week ahead. 

Take it easy

This is looking like a typical bank holiday starting with a grey damp morning to start our trip. As I said before this isn’t unusual for us but it’s not going to stop us. We have done holidays in tents with two kids and a dog in wet weather. Wellies and waterproofs on the beach wasn’t unusual.

Exactly the same as Tony. 8 degrees and sunny at the moment but it doesn't look like it will stay that way all day.

Back to winter , heavy overnight rain eased of around 8a.m, not nice walking conditions,however needs must, Tag out for a jobby.
Rain forecasted for all day,so it's a box set day I think.

Thunder and lightning here at the moment heavy rain one minute then heavy hail the next, gone ever so dark also

Not a bad day at all, mainly sunny but a strong SW wind blowing. Lazy day today inspecting the inside of the eyelids this afternoon.
