Re: Weather
Hope it all goes well BB. Very little change here, still 7°c, damp and dull. Forecast suggests it will dry up through the afternoon before more rain later. Got to nip out to dispose of the broken terracotta pots, surprisingly heavy
Enjoy your day, whatever you are up to. Don't forget to change the clocks at 2am tomorrow

What started of as a very nice morning with the sun shining and blue skys has see the clouds roll in and now rain, but the plus side is the strong winds have eased slightly

A blustery and chilly night followed by a bright morning here on the Norfolk coast. Hopefully the rain will hold off until we have been for a walk.

Re: Weather
Wind and rain was back with a vengeance last night. I know things sound worse in van but the rain was torrential and the wind shook the van constantly. All seems calm now with bright sunshine.

Re: Weather
11 degrees and sunny with a moderate breeze, can see a load of sheets blowing on the line, no idea how they got there or what happens to them next.
HGV medical today then a couple of new blinds to fit in the conservatory so a fairly easy day. Did wonder about getting the van prepped for a quick trip to France in late April, maybe the reception would be warmer then expected though.
Hope the rehearsal goes well Bb.
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Hope you get pass your medical GH, & and you have a good rehearsal BB, didn't get out with Tag until after 6 am, after another night of heavy rain showers.
Stayed out and had bacon rolls and truck drivers tea at one of the many cafes open early in Bridington.
Raining again as I post looks like it's a box set day again.
Take care,have a nice day.

Re: Weather
Dry cool night, light cloud cover with a northerly breeze, nice walk with Tag, no excitement this morning, just a nice donder down the promanard.
Think the dawn chorus birds forgot to put there clocks forward, just the odd Blackie starting up, no gull attacks either.
Have a nice day, take care if your driving.

Re: Weather
Great concert last night, acoustic in Caird Hall in Dundee so much better than our rehearsal room, enthusiastic audience seemed to enjoy it. Four weeks now until next concert, part of paid chamber orchestra for choral society gig.
Two degrees and frost on cars but promises a nice day here today.
Have a good day, hope you are all now working on BST, need to go out soon and reset all the clocks in the van, Truma, main control panel, dashboard and aftermarket radio...I may be gone some time

Re: Weather
A much calmer night than the last couple. A couple of light showers first thing this morning and notice the wind has changed direction. Eagerly awaiting breakfast bap of bacon sausage and egg delivered to van this morning (anyone staying 2 nights or more gets one on morning of departure). Just started another shower as I type.
Then got to get off this field without ploughing it up , it's rather wet. Neighbouring van has sunk and already needing to be towed off.
Update- got off site with no problems at all.

After a damp but calmer night it’s trying to brighten up this morning. Hopefully the rain will hold off for a while until we have been on our walk. Yesterdays walk on the flood bank was a bit drafty until we turned round and put our backs to the wind.

In a nut shell Tony NO, like lots of other towns I see Police Cara and vans targeting drug dens etc in the early morning but this was a full blown " armed police and dogs raid" .
Couldn't find any mention of the raid on local media or newspapers. Even bought the Saturday Yorkshire post to see if I could find anything..
Walked Tag past the area this morning and didn't see any signs of forced entry on any properties.
Much cooler and dry now, time for Tags second donder out,see yer later.
Take care if your traveling.

Re: Weather
Back home and 7 degrees and sunny.
Torrential rain in Melrose on Friday night so hardly any sleep (was like lying in a snare drum it was so heavy at times) and it was very, very chilly this morning when we left, only 3 degrees. Nice relaxing weekend though.

CL we've just left has a travellers permanent site 300 yards away. Google Leighton Arches and read about their raid.

Much the same here at -1°c with clear skies and a light ground frost. If it warms up I might go out and change the garden clock/thermometer to summer time
