Pleased to hear your having good weather Peter, cool and dry here on the east coast, nice long walk with Tag down to the harbour, nice sunrise too.
Gulls are a pain ,diving bombing from a great height, lovely dawn chorus.

Morning Boaby,

5 degrees and dull this morning with rain forecast for later on.  Day for staying indoors I think..

No frost but raining just checked BBC weather forecast and "light rain" forecast non stop until Monday night. Should be stir crazy by then

Scottish Gas engineer due this morning to service boiler. 

Auris aircon recharged successfully on Tuesday, van booked in for same on Monday next week, timed to fit in Dental checkup on same trip into town.

Frost on roof and next door's car this morning....Hope the Spaniards have better plans for next week....
Bright and sunny tho.

Not sure where you will be exactly Ian but the forecast looks great for much of Spain, have a wonderful trip.
Overcast and damp here this morning, not a lot planned but will get everything ready to load the van.
Birds are going through their food at a rapid rate of knots, five goldfinches on one feeder all at once yesterday, they love those sunflower hearts!

I haven't even got round to Hammeriting the sunshade bit over the rear view camera as it's looking a bit worse for wear (and not much chance of doing it today as it's raining)

Painting your nuts is essential like polishing the end of the spitzenpopsenbangentuben . Exhaust that is.

I prefer mine Au Naturale 

Started raining at breakfast time, just the light stuff that you don't notice until you are soaked to the skin. Packed, home and unpacked. Still raining so the washing can wait.

Hate rusty brown nuts Dave,GH,Tony, used to have nice wheel nut covers on , until some troglodyte nicked them when parked up in York retail park last year.

Heavy rain throughout the night, eased of briefly to get Tag out earlier, stottin down again, back under the duvet for me.

Morning Folks,

Raining all night and still raining.  7 degrees just now but rain is supposed to stop later on today. Shopping day today, badly needed too as I feel like Old Father Hubbard with lots of bare cupboards.

Up to 9°c but the drizzle is still on, hopefully not for long. Shopping day here too then our house boiler is getting tge annual once over (as per 7 year guarantee requires   )

       Lady G has put up with me for 50 years today, no celebration plans as most of the family are thousands of miles away, maybe go out for a cream tea later if it brightens up. 
Back from the early shop, overcast and drizzly, everything in stock and the supermarket was quite empty, every week the bill seems to go up though!

10° here rising to 14, only 8% chance of rain today but 80% chance for the weekend.  
Shopped Lidl yesterday,  haven't seen it so well stocked for months, even eggs of all sizes. 
If you have the Lidl App there's 20% off all their Parkside DIY and garden tools , everything from a mower or drill to a plasma cutter to a box of hose clips. Not sure if it applies to just one item or a whole host of stuff if purchased together.

Congratulations GH,thought we were doing well with 35th due in July.

Congratulations GH and Lady GH   This is our second shot at this marriage malarkey so we're only at 37 years but we have been together for 46 years. Jury is still out on whether it will work out this time 

Shopping was not fun, the shops were very busy and nobody warned me it was "drive where you like, park where you want" Friday   The rain got worse rather than better and is still falling.

Heavy sea fret/ har rolling in everything is soaking,should clear later.

Turned out a lovely evening, looks like better weather is not far away

It started grey and drizzling during our morning walk but it’s slowly brightened up until this evening the overcast has cleared up.
We had a lovely afternoon tea with the kids for managements birthday. It was a case of fitting in with there shifts and the pub not doing afternoon tea on a Sunday. 
Once our son had gone to work and daughter had left us we did a shop for something nice for Sunday. Whilst we were out we bought a new TV. The one we had in the living room was left behind when daughter moved out and it wouldn’t switch on after our trip. The 16” one in our bedroom is so old we had to replace the remote years ago.
We now have a 32” flat screen thing.It took a bit of setting up but when you press buttons the correct channels appear. The rest of the clever things we will think about later. Oh and we can get Classic FM so management is happy.

6 degrees and dull this morning. Saw a Jay yesterday, not had one of them here for a long time.
