Wet and windy start but dried up quickly with a little sunshine, management is outside gardening so I am hiding. Quiet day otherwise, not a lot planned, maybe finish the last mowing if it dries up enough.

Another sunny start with some broken cloud but it feel significantly colder. The forecastfor yesterday suggested high winds but we got nothing more than a few gusts. The weather person is now saying we're in for high winds and showers today......guess they'll be right eventually

Tony, need to report plums starting to shrivel up with the cold. Breezy cold bright morning, forst time this autumn I have had to wear a fleece for morning shopping.van fuelled and tyres pumped up in readiness for short weekend break in Edinburgh this coming weekend.

Still in the stubbies down here in the far SW, longs are banned until at least November. Sunny spells and fast moving clouds, looks like rain later on in the day. Not too cold so outside until the wet starts.

Recorded the new crime series, Karen Pirie, always up for a good foreign language film but gave up after about 10 minutes. Couldn't understand what they were saying . Obviously need to spend more time with you fine fellows north of the border.

Same old, same old. Sunny, some cloud and colder than yesterday as the gauge takes another dip to 11°c. Looks like much the same tomorrow for our trip over to the dark side   Unfortunately it appears we're all in for a rather damp Friday 

8° at Jedburgh right now, forecast of 12 this afternoon.  Couple of really heavy showers late yesterday afternoon,  70% chance of rain today.

Just back from Pyrenees areas, 3 weeks. Average temp except last few days high 20's low 30's.
Back here now 5c this morning!!!
Pond is full though, grass is back to green, and water butts are full

Welcome back Ian, will be comparing notes on that trip, just stopped in the Vendee this year, next year it has to be mountains! 
Dry at the moment but overcast and looks a bit threatening though the forecast is staying dry. Still pretty mild though considering.
Loads of birds on the feeders this morning, they are loving the sunflower hearts, I think peanuts will be coming off the menu as they are just going untouched and going rotten.

Relief from heavy rain dump around 8 a.m BB, ,garden rain butts overflowing into frog pond, frogs are loving this weather.

The BBC weather forecast for us was a clear dry day..........so we've just has several hours of stinky showers. Is there any forecast we can trust 

Overnight rain cleared by 4.30. Ish, good walk with Tag in his 3 peaks wee rain proof coat, too wet even for the cats to be out.

Rain cleared by lunchtime yesterday but it remained overcast for the rest of the day. Today it's back to sunny with broken cloud and still cold. I think the van heating is going to get a test over the weekend. Taking plenty of reading material for tomorrow

Rain started around 4pm yesterday in Jedburgh and didn't stop until around 7 this morning.  Noticeably warmer this morning than yesterday. Moving on again today, next stop England.

Quite mild, rain showers and just plain dull this morning, missing al that French sunshine. Enjoy your travels guys and have a noice day!

Bright sunshine, warm and gentle breeze, good drying day, washing out in rush to get it dry before rain arrives tonight. 

Just switched fridge on in van getting ready for weekend away. Found a nearly full bag of sweetcorn in the freezer so had to clean that out first. Not sure how I missed it as usually methodical when emptying van, could have been much worse as only two weeks since last trip and at least it wasn't  meat or fish

Nice run over to the east coast today, we were surprised to be basking in warm sunshine this afternoon. Had a great hour or so sitting on a bench watching the birdlife at the seashore (just wish I had remembered the bins  ). Hatches are battened down ready for tomorrow wind and rain.

Lovely day here on Anglesey today - 2 lots of washing done, lawns cut and final two flower beds weeded and cut back plus patio jet washed. We are now ready for Winter outside - first gale on its way tomorrow so battening down the hatches as we are pretty exposed here!
