I'll second that about Stonie, was going to recommend The Villa for coffee or light lunch but it's closed on a Sunday 

Still cold but quite a bit of light cloud cover, the sun will struggle to break through that I think. No worries for me, fitting new lights under the kitchen units today..

Watch out if any of you folk suffer from arachnophobia, evicted two large spiders from our back hallway last night. They are on the move 

Not a bright start in Stonie and expected high of only 12° today,  couple of showers last night. Started raining as I write. Showers on and off and very dull at lunchtime.

As for spiders, two large ones in hall and bathroom before we left home so they'll be having a party while we're away.

Still and peaceful morning with full cloud cover. 8degrees so a bit cooler than of late. 

Like most a quiet day planned

Pretty much the same here, cool and cloudy. We had some showery rain yesterday, not a lot, just enough to be annoying.

Quiet day here too watching history unfold. Glorious start to the day sun really warm but clouding over now. 15 degrees.

Cool partial cloudy sky,no breeze, around 10 degrees,good walk with Tag ,back home for porridge.

Rain overnight but stopped now, had hoped to get grass cut today but will depend on how long it takes to dry up.

Stayed dry here yesterday and even got the occasional bits of decent sunshine, that and the brisk wind made it a good drying day. Today has started like yesterday, cool with light cloud cover. Got a few bits and pieces to pick up at the shops and meeting my brother for a coffee to put the world to rights 

Cloudy start at Stonehaven but feels a little bit warmer thank goodness,  it was bitterly cold yesterday alhough sunshine all day. Moving on today,  via Aberdeen, Peterhead and Fraserburgh to a CL near Banff just for 1 night.

Safe travels Paul, watch out for the dolphins, We spotted some when at Stonie, quite far out though 

Hope the weather stays good for you both.     I'm sure you've got it all planned out but on the Moray Coast, Hopeman and Findhorn are both well worth a look.   (As IanH and Boaby will testify)    Cheers

I know this may seem an odd saying but my grandmas friend used to say it will be warmer after the funeral. Today it is certainly warmer than it was at the weekend. I had to put the radiator back on to dry some washing on Saturday.

West beach Hopeman, Portsoy ,not been to Findhorn for a few years, love that coast line, lots to do.

Thanks, that'll be tomorrow. Weathers picked up, sun out and noticeably warmer. Just having fish and chips at Fraserburgh beach.

Gorgeous sunrise here and a bright day, able to get a bit of sun bathing in this afternoon which was great, once again clouded over again now though. Really busy out and about with lots of traffic. Just tried to book a couple of days in Brighton with C&MC, managed to navigate the booking and it was more expensive for a pitch than the Premier Inn! Seriously how can they justify that....

Lovely sunrise this morning, bit less cloud and a bit less cold. Should stay dry today before we get hit with a band of rain tomorrow. Another spider eviction last night, not sure if it was the same two or if they are sending their pals in

Not so bright this morning,  certainly not as cold last night.
I read its cranefly season (didn't know there was one) and must admit the van was covered in them yesterday,  so now we have spiders and crane flies to contend with

Lovely mild still sunny morning 

Got to pick up management's Auris hybrid after annual service and MOT, four sets of brake pads and discs, two rear tyres, aircon recharge, major service. This is going to hurt the wallet

Misty over the river first thing, burned off quickly and now promising to be a lovely day. Our nocturnal visitors has been excavating the lawns again, left out some apples last night on the basis if you cant beat them, looks like they had quite a party.
Need to wash the van despite the hosepipe ban, it is looking grubby outside after returning from France, best get the buckets out.
Hope the pain isn't too great Bilbo.

Dull and very wet morning, the kind of day you want to stay indoors. So we're going out to do the shopping   Forecast is for drier but colder stuff to follow behind as today goes on.
