It's at 8°c in the West, just getting light enough to see the blanket of cloud covering the sky. We expect a dry and cold day, might try and get the van out for a run unless the boss has other plans.

Only 1° here at moment,  rising to 4 later, misty all around, slight chance of rain.

Fresh at 3 degrees at 5am but warming up nicely now on a bright sunny day, back from the early shop and the mist was lifting off the river, looked beautiful.
Will open the van to get some draught through later, thermal covers are on the screen now.

Turned out no bad here,no breeze or mist, Van has its windscreen cover on too.
Wife likes external Christmas lights up outside the bungalow ,so spent a few hours hanging them up.

But then again.......

The weather kept dry, cold and calm today so I decided to go over to the storage unit and give the van a run, just as well. Some wally, who looks remarkedly like an old guy I see in the mirror each morning, left the interior LED lights on when he left it last time. The LB was down to 5v   Thankfully, a good run brought it back up to over 12v again. Wait until I see him tomorrow 

After what seemed like weeks it was brighter today so we walked into town for brunch and posted the first of this years Christmas cards. 
Feeling a bit less creaky I thought it be a good idea to go and get the wig trimmed on the way home. Normally it’s one girl in there or occasionally her friend helps out. Today there were three of them in there so it was straight the chair. It’s a bit drafty but for £6 .50 pensioner rate it’s a good trim.

Rain showers overnight , cool and clear this morning, local walk with Tag , back in for 5.30 and a shower. Porridge ready to heat later.

Heavy rain overnight, temperature has dropped a tad and the wind is now blowing from the east which I am very happy about as it’s blown all the leaves off the lawn back to the owners of the tree’s where they came from

A cool 1° here , dry, no rain expected today, temp up to 5 later.

Bit of a red sky as the sun comes up but there's not much cloud about, gauge sitting on 10°c but it feels colder than that. Think we're in for something of a change over the next few days as the stuff arrives from the east.

Sunny as the day dawned but heavy looking cloud overhead now, hopefully it will stay dry. Currently 7 degrees.  More leaf clearing today then mowing, grass never stops growing this far South. Hopefully if the easterlies keep up the remainder of the leaves will blow away from us too.

Dry with a bit of cloud but we have frost on the grass and the car will need a scrape before I use it. The well publicised change to the weather coming from the east, then north, this week will give us all a wee chill.

8 degrees, dry and overcast, light easterly wind. Plenty of inside jobs to do, a bedroom light switch packed up so that needs a new dimmer switch and more "office jobs" to look at so staying indoors today.

Rain showers overnight, stopped long enough to get Tag for a good walk earlier, wind gettng up from the north east, should get a washing out later.

Some rain overnight,  only slight chance of more today, 4° at moment,  high of 6 today.

Quite overcast here. It's been raining overnight, although dry now it doesn't look like that last very long. Wind has moved to a northerly so I guess the current 4°c will not last either.

6 degrees here, ice in the bird water this morning so must have been pretty cold last night. Sunny start to the day, Lady G has some washing out, off to the village to post a load of cards, then back for coffee!
Christmas present to myself just arrived, a pair of serengeti sunglasses, always had Maui Jim's in the past so looking forward to seeing how they go.

4 degrees and cloudy just back from Dundee, coming over the hill at Forfar into vale of Strathmore can see that back hills beyond Glenclova are white, and light dusting on near hills beyond Kirriemuir, means snow less than 20 mile distant and couple if hundred feet heightwise.

Only 1° here this morning,  no sign of overnight frost, temp might reach 5 today.

18 in the shade today dropping to 13 overnight - leaving the Cabo de Gata for the north on Thursday and the ferry from Santander on Sunday. It’s going to be a huge shock to the system looking at everyone’s temperatures. Brrrrr!
