Re: Weather
Sorry to hear you're a bit under the weather Boaby, take it easy. Watch for those bears GH, I've heard they are partial to a pic-a-nik basket
Bright and breezy start here, mild but with showers on the way later. Might get the washing dry before they arrive.

Re: Weather
Really mild night, Dyson a/cs on as its 24 degrees inside, feeling better earlier,so had an hour walk with Tag at Dawn.
Our local GP practice has really improved since last year, wife phoned to book a Asthma clinic appointment in the morning and mentioned my cough, told to come down straight away, given a check over and prescribed anti bes , pharmacy made up my prescription within 2 hours.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Tony GH, leave a jar of Marmite out for the Bears GH, told they love it.

Re: Weather
That is good service Boaby, can't complain about that!
8am here now and already 24 degrees, reckon it will be well in the 30's today but at least here up the mountain the air is clear. The bears seem pretty keen on the chickens and ducks at this time of year too, since we have baby goats and lambs as well best they are kept away so the marmite can stay in the fridge
Off to explore the boonies later today. Fuel is the equivalent of GBP1.60 a litre, good job it is as filling bigfoot ( Ford Expedition) cost over $300 and weighing in at more than the motorhome at 5 tonnes and a 7.2 litre engine he is not frugal.
Have a great day all

It’s windy and chilly in Cornwall today, GH, and we’ve had a couple of heavy showers. Much the same yesterday too.
Cheap fuel, eh? Diesel has reached £1.96 ish around here.
Enjoy your day.

The plus side of that to us there is a chance we will not return to a garden full of dead plants, hope it cheers up for you soon

It’s changeable, GH, we’ve had warm days as well, although I can’t speak for the previous week as we were away but our garden is looking very green at the moment.groundhog wrote:Cheers TWTinwheeler wrote:It’s windy and chilly in Cornwall today, GH, and we’ve had a couple of heavy showers. Re: Weather
Dull start this morning but dry so far, it won't last long as we have showers and longer spells of rain on the way. Yesterday was sunny but there was a brisk and cool wind blowing. Great for drying clothes but not much else

Re: Weather
Another beautiful sunrise earlier, longer walk out with Tag as we had a cooling breeze from the south east , really nice.
Everything is really dry, grass has browned out and leaves dropping of trees, our bird bath and frog pond has birds in Drinking and bathing all day, .
Wasps have taken over one of our new nest boxes, the byke is getting larger by the day.
Have a nice day.

Re: Weather
Typically it’s chucking it down on our first morning away at Kirkby Stephen. It’s supposed to dry up later but we will have a soggy dog smelling motorhome after our morning walk.

Re: Weather
Poor Tag hope he is feeling better.
34 degrees on the car thermometer yesterday and wall to wall sunshine, this morning it is a much more comfortable 23 degrees.
Spending a few more days here then at the weekend heading off to Toronto for a while, might even try to get a look at that Lancaster bomber over there.
Hope the weather cheers up for you guys.

Started sunny, soon clouded over with threatening grey sky, pretty cool and quite windy in Forest of Dean.

Dry,humid night, out earlier with Tag , he's fine now. Rain started at 5.40 and is pouring down now, we need it as everything is bone dry.
Have a nice day, hope you see your Lancaster GH, I was privileged to see it flying over Ferry meadows Peterborough, along side our British one, some years back now, awesome sound of those Merlins.

Still dull and cold this morning but at least it's dry so far, my breath will not be held though. The rain kept going all day yesterday, sure the ground needed it but I didn't

I love To see the sun rising Frederic , especially when on tour, Tag prefers the cooler temperatures for walking, still cloudy here with the forecast of showers .
Nice to see your both fit and well, maybe see you next year.

Re: Weather
It rained very hard last night in Ingleton but dried up by the time we got to Skipton this afternoon. We managed a walk in the woods near the castle but it was getting quite chilly by the time we got back. After tea it chucked it down for half an hour.
As it’s Wimbledon week I suppose this damp spell is to be expected.
