The wind ramped up yesterday accompanied by very heavy rain and thunder. Still overcast today with gusting winds and showers. Good day for not going out  shrugg

Lovely bright start here with a gentle breeze. As much as I have been putting it off I really must get the Rienza washed this weekend. Management is away at her friends hopefully going out for picnics and outdoor things. Me and muttly will have a couple of nice walks locally whist the weather holds. The idea of days out with retired NHS is not for us two. Too much talking and G&T.

Another wet morning, the wind is still blowing and gusts of 30 to 40mph are on the forecast for later. Getting a bit fed up with the weather forecasters going on about the warm/hot temps on the way..........as long as you don't live in the North West  shrugg

Good Boaby, keep away from the pitches across from the toilets! Pretty wild here yesterday with high wind and squally showers. Its started off dry this morning, still breezy and cool though. Heading off for a wee break soon so we might catch some of this warm weather that's being promised.

Drizzle and dreich most of the day, heavy cloud cover, managed a good walk out with Tag down to Loch Tay and back along the old railway path to the falls of Dochart, river Lochie is also high.
Main road from the Killin hotel to the site entrance is one way traffic due to road works.

Another nice sunny day in Spittal, beautiful sunrise and a great walk along the sandy beach with Tag, picked up fresh morning rolls from the wee shop on Main Street .
Nice to see the new coop Tony, lots of McIntosh foods in there too, pity the weather was crap and the midges bad, only stayed for 3 days, enough time to see our son for a plnt and head of for Spittal.

Crap weather in Killin, surely not  snigger Sorry you got that after all the time you've waited to get the trip in.

Pretty hot in Kirkby Stephen yesterday, not as humid as it was down south. Sunny start but it looks like we've rain on the way for later. Was that our summer?

We had a lovely day yesterday (temp 21) although it clouded over around 6pm, today started dull , forecast is 24 degrees but no sun  so far, sudden strong gust of wind few minutes ago and then no further gust, odd.

Sod's law Tony, managed to get the head stones cleans up and weeded, fresh flowers added too, really hot here in Bridlington 27 degrees on the thermometer.
We've had some really hot summers in Killin Tony, many years ago mind, father in law had a wee orrie boat and we would load up with export and rods and head out for the day.

Another warm muggy day here. It feels like we are going to get a storm latter.
Muttly hasn’t moved much during this warm spell. His fur is double layered so it must be a bit uncomfortable for him. Having said that he dosnt move much normally. He did wander into the garden whilst management was hoovering in the sitting room. After a drink from the bird bath he ambled back in. walkies

Yesterday's rain didn't amount to much, must have fell on Stranraer before it got to us  winks. It was just annoying showers with a really annoying high wind. We were forced to take refuge in the site bar for pizza and beer  Whistle1 Much brighter today and warm enough for us. Visited the Kirkby Station East which had a model railway exhibition today.

So much for the warm weather. It’s been grey and overcast followed by showers this afternoon here. We are off to Brodsworth Hall for the car show and a picnic tomorrow so I hope it will stay dry. As a change we will be going in the car so if the weather is wet it will be a compact picnic.
We would go in the Rienza but after the messing about with the fuel pump in the car we want to prove it is cured and management can trust her faithful old Polo is fit for service.

Hi from Mount Benson BC.
Should be swimming in the lake but it is cool and raining so not even BBQ weather.
If you need to know why you have a motorhome try flying anywhere at the moment. Spent 9 hours getting from Dublin to Vancouver and another 9 hours in the airport trying to get our bags and take a 15 minute flight to Vancouver Island. We may not come back for a while!
Have a great day...or have you already had it?

Dullish morning here, looks like it will stay dry with broken sunshine and fairly mild. That'll do!

A nice bright start with a cool breeze so far this morning. If this keeps up it should be a nice day mooching round the cars at Brodsworth.
