Re: Weather
Pretty decent day yesterday and another on the cards for today, bright and sunny if a bit on the cool side. Need to enjoy it while it lasts.

Re: Weather
Much the same here, sunny start but a guessing a F4-5 breeze blowing. Can see the light at the end of the tunnel with all the reno's now, another couple of weeks and then it should all be done.

Re: Weather
Weather forecasters are having some trouble with their forecasts right now. The sunny start yesterday turned to heavy rain but it brightened up after lunch. Today it's pouring down and likely to stay that way all day

Re: Weather
We had a heavy thunderstorm last night here in Wiltshire but it seems to be brighter this morning. Muttly is in a sulk. Maybe the thunder disturbed him because he won’t eat his breakfast.
As said the weather man admitted they couldn’t get the predictions right so it might be a wet walk today but no matter the air will do us good.

Boaby.
The park is used by a lot of dog walkers, as usual some are better at keeping them on leads to others. Nice place though.
Rain kept going most of yesterday and it was cold, today looks better with bright sunshine and it's 15°c already. Not taking anything for granted as it has caught us out a few times over the last few weeks.
Take it easy.

Re: Weather
Pretty good morning, warm and dry, heavens opened around lunchtime and rain stopped at 4pm. After the obligatory afternoon siesta didn't feel like getting back up the scaffolding.... so didn't

Re: Weather
Retirement is the best job I've ever had
I was right about the weather yesterday, a pleasant sunny day turned into it blowing a gale with very heavy rain by teatime. It's started sunny again today but a bit cooler than yesterday, who knows what to expect next
Take care all

Re: Weather
Makes you wonder how you ever had time to work doesn't it, I know as you get older things take a little longer but I could do with 8 day weeks and 36 hour days right now.
Started sunny today but heavy cloud rolling in and it could rain at any time, hoping to get out and carry on with the chores but the skies are looking very threatening

Dry with a few decent breaks in the cloud, hopefully a dry day to crack on with the painting and window staining.

Wet start to the day but looks like clearing skies, back from the early shop and noticed prices really have risen a lot. Back outside to work now!

Re: Weather
Well, here in Stonehaven it's blustery but dry. And guess what? There was a tap on the window, and a gentleman who had spotted our ASOF stickers introduced himslef. None other that Our Man from Bridlington himslef, BurlingtonBoaby! We enjoyed a few beers in the sun, and it was so nice to meet a fellow Forum enthusiast.
Off to the Orkneys tomorrow.

Re: Weather
Oh you lucky people all I get to do is go up the bleddy scaffolding with a paintbrush.....really looking forward to France in August though. Fancying a bit of Alpine scenery to maybe the tunnel then Alps or go way south from Roscoff and the Pyranees, decide nearer the time.
Bright start to the day, looks like it should stay dry so off we go again, same old, same old but on the bright side lots of birds around to look at it, pair of jackdaws have built in a tree close to the house and busy feeding which is nice to see.
Have a great day all

Cyprus, no van though
It's a trip postponed from two years ago (so nothing to do with an ASOF invasion of Scotland )
