Weather

Not a bad day yesterday and looks like the same today, dry and bright but mostly cloudy. Got some things to sort out indoors so that will keep me busy.

Lovely sunny start to the day but really clouded over now, probably a bit of passing sea fret that will burn off, hope so anyway!

Dry earlier on but the rain has started and will just get heavier and the wind will pick up as the morning wears on. Looks like the week will but much the same with lots of wet stuff in the forecast. I got it wrong yesterday, didn't get the things done indoors as the gardener needed me to assist in a shopping trip to the big orange shop. I feel pretty confident that the indoors stuff will get done today 

A lovely bright start here for our morning walk. Muttly knows something happening because the van is off the drive. He eyed it up as we walked past.
Hopefully this weather will stay for a while  but no matter we are off at last. 
Next appointment is for management to go with daughter for daughters wedding dress. Not an event I want to be involved in. 

Good start to the day, dry and a light now S breeze. Should stay dry but expecting rain tomorrow and Wednesday. Best carry on with the painting again, just three more walls to do high up off the scaffolding then the rest is ground level, who would live in a U shaped house! Next time I want brick walls and plastic windows instead of white paint and hardwood that needs staining.

Very wet and windy overnight but it's a bright sunny morning. CH boiler service getting done and then we hope to get out, clothes shops......yippee 

A lovely bright start with a gentle breeze here at Bugsworth. Hopefully this weather will stay for our walk. It’s not far but there is a bit of a climb in the middle so muttly won’t be amused. For a supposedly mountain dog he is a lazy old boot.

Howletts ( I am guessing that means owls) must have been having a party last night right outside the bedroom window in a large tree, lovely to hear but there comes a point....
Raining first thing but dried up now and looking good for a few hours so back on with the overalls and start more painting. Scaffolding to move later so the roofers can come on Thursday to finish some repairs then paint the chimney pots, never ending. 
Still snowing bits of the trees, no complaints about that from me right now, thinking of the poor souls that have far worse raining down from the skies above Ukraine.

It was mostly sunny yesterday but cool and windy. We had a lot of short and heavy rain downpours, fortunately we managed to get out without getting caught in one.

Still on the cool side but it's  a bright and sunny start to the day. Bit of socialising this morning and some things to organise this afternoon.

A bright but damp start to the day so it was a short muttly walk along the old tramway. It’s supposed to be dryer tomorrow so maybe more walking.

Weather was a bit hit and miss at Whitby, we had a nice few days in Stockton on tees ,unfortunately the white water rafters weren’t out and about.
Nice and sunny here at Berwick seaview, some showers earlier,however it’s nice now

Most of Scotland is poised for a bright day except, guess which bit   We've got sunshine and showers for food shopping day 

A lovely bright start with a slightly chilly breeze here in Derbyshire this morning. Hopefully meaning a nice walk along the high peak trail to Parsley Hey.

It was very windy here too, after a showery morning the rest of the day was dry until the early evening. Another bright sunny start and it should warm up a bit too. Weekend looks promising but not knotted hankie weather yet 

A few spots of rain at the moment and looking rather dull here in mid-wales.

My optimism was unfounded. Turned into a miserable, dull, cold and windy day with spitting rain.

Beautiful sunrise earlier, Tag had a great time on the extended lead running along the sandy beach at Spittal

Got brighter as the day progressed but now very windy. Exhausted from todays walking and ready to sit outside the van but that wind is making it cool.

Envying you guys away in your vans, should be doing the same but still working hard on property reno's. How come whenever you get hired help in, no matter who it is they never quite do things to your standard. Should I really have to climb up on the roof to paint chimney pots the workman left looking patchy or clear up where paint has been dripped on a window? Maybe I am asking too much
Anyway have a great time everyone, just three weeks to go now and that will be us finished here and heading across the pond  , probably to start fencing, mowing, mucking out the goats and a thousand other tasks.
Think I am doing something wrong....

Lovely morning here at Shuttleworth. Muttly and I had a walk whilst the grass was still damp with dew he had a sneezing do after sniffing some grass cuttings.
It should be a nice day for the air show with a bit of breeze to keep it comfortable. Management is on porridge making so that’s a good start.

Looking good here in mid-wales, warm and bright with some broken cloud.
