Re: Weather
Still sunny here too but we have the frost on the cars outside. All change as the day wears on though with the forecast for cloud and rain to arrive later this afternoon. Could you get me a loaf and a pint of milk BB

Re: Weather
Gorgeous start to the morning, clear blue skies but now a couple of hours later the clouds have arrived and it is raining.
Nonetheless getting the van out and heading for the beach, hasn't moved for nearly a month ( the van that is not the beach) so badly needs a run.
The exercise wont day Lady G and I any harm either...
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Sorry Askit, they were out of milk and bread
They did have a lot of Colapz buckets and basins, several electric bike stands and a old citroen van converted to a coffee stand that did very nice coffee. None of the mohos on show tempetd me to trade in the WXL

I can believe that Bilbo, if we were going down that route rather than a coachbuilt the WXL would be first choice!

Forecast rain did not arrive yesterday, still dry this morning but more cloud and a bit less cold as well. Just been out to chase the local squirrel, we had a nice crop of Khol Rabi growing in the garden until it started digging them up and burying them elsewhere in the garden We just cleared the lot to save the hassle but now it's back to attacking the bird feeders.
It's war

Re: Weather
Flipping tree rats, they are a pest. Sorry about the neeps Tony. The feeders with cages round seem fairly resistant but apart from a shotgun is there anything that stops them completely.
About fifty Canada Geese turned up on the river last night, great to see them as last year there were hardly any, just hope the garden birds return in the same numbers.
Nice bright sunny morning, done the weekly shop and it wasn't too cold out there, still only sweater weather although the stubbies are just about done.
Must get out today to do some work, still suffering from the bad back but old horses are best kept on the move.
Have a great day

Re: Weather
Sea fret/har cleared during the night, cool damp morning,no wind away from the shore, otherwise a nice walk out with Tag.
Nice sunset GH , when we go the Whitby CS, we get a sunrise and sunset over the sea horizon, especially good when the Abbey is included in the frame.
Have a nice day.

Nice picture GH, always enjoy a sunset
Dull, wet and windy outside. Gardener is getting some topiary practice in later when she gives me a haircut Not as challenging as it used to be with what I've got left on my head

Re: Weather
A lovely autumnal day here with a dry and bright start. It might be a good chance to take muttly for a longer walk this morning.
I couldn’t get out with him for his bedtime walk until nearly midnight last night because of the fireworks. It was really bad here and of course he possibly hadn’t heard fireworks in Romania. He spent the evening curled up near me in front of the TV.
Judging by the amount last night it should be quieter tonight hopefully.

Chilly dry morning. Bit of wind blowing leaves about, too windy to do any clearing them up today.
Back in the warm now and settling down with a mug of Yorkshire Gold.

Re: Weather
Pretty much the same over here in the west, quite a wild night with the wind rattling anything not tied down. Taking a little break, the climate change discussions have inspired us to have a change of climate

Re: Weather
Sunny and dry down here again, very gentle breeze and 13 degrees. Picked up loads of leaves and cut the back grass yesterday, wouldn't believe we had been anywhere near it this morning, they are dropping fast.
Having a bit of a take it easy day today, looks like a god car cleaning day so maybe Helga our now ageing mercedes estate will get a wash.
