You should be on to the wellies by now Boaby, it's well past guttie weather.

Heavy rain overnight, it's off just now but clearly there's more to come today. Colder than yesterday too, down a couple of degrees.

Discovered a wee beastie has started to build a nest in one of my wellies, thus the reason I didn't have them on.  There too heavy for long walks. I have a pair of Rockport walking boots that I usually put on for wet weather walking.
Suns out now with a strong wind, get the dog bedding washed and out.

You don't need a beasties in your wellies, get the Rockport boots out.
Sunshine and showers down here but not as warm, still in the stubbies and T shirt, fear that will not last for many more days although the forecast after Wednesday looks fairly good. Three tons of gravel arriving Tuesday which has to be manhandled up a flight of steps unfortunately so will be needing some good weather, a wall to knock down, slabs to lay and a a shed to build, busy times ahead! allthumbz

Have a great day all  drinksallround

Rock ports have been re heeled and soled GH ,unfortunately not the original material,so they are very heavy now, like pit boots.
Take you time hand balling your aggregate GH, wear some heavy leather gloves.   up!

Despite the forecast of heavy rain yesterday, we had a washing hung out and dried in the afternoon sunshine.

Weather person said sunny with scattered showers today, well could you please scatter them somewhere else please  twiddle_thumbs Fairly bright right now but still pretty cool. Heading to the east coast for our last trip of the year tomorrow, forecast is not great but we're hardy souls (at least we used to be  Whistle1)

Have a good trip Tony, remember the brolly. We are off to Dumfries and Galloway for a week starting Thursday, doing a bit of the South West 300.

Lots of heavy cloud in between the sunny spells this morning. Delivery of gravel and shed arriving this morning so the hard work starts now. Good job I have a strong northern lass by my side to help! hugegrins

Prolonged heavy rain overnight subsiding by Dawn, brief weather window to get out with Tag earlier, I think every dog walker was out at the same time.
Blue sky at the moment, with heavy dark clouds over the Wolds.
Have a nice day, mind yet back GH.

Started out as a lovely, but cold, morning. Rain started while I was in town collecting prescription for SWMBO. Looks like it is on for the day now.

Dry start in the west but the rain started around half way on our journey east. Pretty wet and not nice driving conditions, or for setting up. Eased off a bit now, had our lunch and heating is on in the van. Should be a nice day for a walk and BBQ tomorrow  happyyes

Blustery winds and heavy rain overnight easing of to a drizzle at 5, enough time to get Tag out for his ablutions.
Forecasted to clear by midday, really strong winds hitting the north facing patio doors.
Have a nice day.

Have a good trip BB. Same weather here, blue sky and bright sunshine. Getting sorted for a coast walk, with all the appropriate attire you understand.

Happy travels Bilbo
Not a bad day here, some sunshine and a little very light rain so managed to get a lot done outside which was good.
No trips planned for now, still have walls to knock down and building work to do.

Dry milder night, some cloud with a wee breeze. Ideal walking conditions with Tag, sniffing out the Foxes by a local allotment, took half a bag of Keble to get him away.
Take care on your wall demolition GH, watched to many TV documentaries with accidents with old guys and tools ( me too)
Have a nice day.

Great day yesterday and had a BBQ before it rained a bit in the evening. Quite bright this morning and a bit warmer but there are some showers about. Might take it easy after yesterday's exertions.

Your not wrong about that BB, five years ago I was stupidly using an disc cutter above my head without a hard hat. It kicked back and hit me in the face, luckily the guard hit me and not the blade or I wouldn't have been typing this. Very lucky escape blushes
Broke my nose and made a right mess but it all healed and now I am as beautiful as ever hugegrins
On a happier note it has not been a bad day at all down here and SWMBO and I have finished shifting three tons of gravel up a flight of steps, bucket by bucket, who needs a gym. Even managed to get half an hour on the sun loungers in the yard so a bonus all round.

Enjoy the evening and travels as appropriate allthumbz
