Neat. But to my colourblind eyes, those DRLs look blue. Are they road legal?

in the day light are legal and light up good 
the picture at night made it look more blue as it was a very dark night and was the only light i had on

I don't understand what this is about, please explain.

Ask if the DRLs are legal and I explained they looked very blue when it was dark but in the day time just do as they should do as can be seen in the picture

My concern would be the partial obscuring of the number plate by the bar. A camera looking downwards will not see the top of the digits which may render the set up illegal.

its a part sold for fitting the number plate and lights above so is all legal or would not be on sale. 
when you have a hgv LICENCE  and do anything wrong ref  speeding faulty lights just some examples even when not driving a hgv you own car camper you then go to court and have to speak to your local traffic Commissioner .so yes i need to be legal or could have my licence taken away.
from the loads i moved lots could be more then 16 feet wide 2 lanes on to motorway and over 100 ton. so having every thing legal ref lights number plate is what i have been doing from the day i left school and working in the motor trade
on my car when i have the sea kayaks on the roof would cover a camera looking downwards  
trucks have the number plate under the lights .set under the back end between the chassis

Hey, I only said it would be my concern and suggested it may render it illegal. I didn’t make an accusation or request a lecture and, btw, plenty of things are on sale which are illegal to use.

For a small cost the clips drain the water off the panel and will then dry off and not have water collecting dust dirt and then dry on the panel and need cleaning off. This was something I had not used before but when I clipped them in place the water drained off and worked great .this has helped keep my panels much cleaner and work better from staying clean[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

How does it drain the water over the raised aluminium edge ?

google and take a look a solar panel drainage clips and you will see them working .
please anybody add a clip to show others here.

when you put your finger down towards water it will come up to your finger when it gets very close to the water and because the clip is touching the water it will go up and over the panel edge .
i have had them fitted for some time BUT wanted to be sure they worked before i posted it here.
when i fitted them it was like i had turned on a tap as the panels drained off
you get the clips as to the side edge size ref 25mm 30mm 35mm so you need to check your panel first

Great mod but unfortunately all it will do is drain the water on to my vans roof which goes absolutely nowhere until I drive off up the road! 
When I give the roof it’s annual clean, it’s the roof not the solar panel that is covered in grime so I’m out as they say on Dragon’s Den!

yes it is a great mod as you say
 but I dont have that problem with the roof from the mod page 4 shows what i have done. i did this first in front of the 1st roof vent and stayed much cleaner. i then did all the places the water collected as when i have the sea kayak on the roof the water and salt would collect in the area as you are talking about but now if it rains it all runs away. i showed that mod  after i had used the camper and could see the roof now stays much cleaner and dry
your roof has the water collect then  dust and dirt the same as the solar panel but the difference is the solar now works better with the clip mod staying cleaner as any person fitting them will see
you say unfortunately all it will do is drain on the vans roof but that is what its doing all the time already from the solar panel

i am about to do a Citizon Smith and say power to the people with my next mod but is not going to be something many others would want to do

They are on eBay or Temu and AliExpress was the best price they are all led you get them in 3 different sizes and the 76mm fit in the hole on the bumper .you can get a wiring kit  to wire them in

This is the fog next to the rear fog there is a space that just fits the switch and the day running and light bar in the pocket below

My Citizon Smith power to the people a lot of power even at night more so parking near the coast as I do. Just need to sort the wiring
