Making a 2 into a 4?
Im looking to buy a 4 berth, 4 seater Peugeot platform Autosleeper. The problem is that 2 of the travelling seats are side facing.
I have noticed that the 2 berth model has 2 forward facing passenger seats with 3 point belts.
So i was contemplating buying a 2 berth (which seem more common) and converting the roof space to make it a 4 berth?
Or. Buying a 4 berth and changing the sideways seat for a forward facing one with 3 point belt?
Any pointers much appreciated.
And any of the above for sale also appreciated.
thanks

Hi Dean
The Harmony has two rear seats which are forward facing with three point seat belts.
The offside seat can be made into a side facing two seater, but you wont be able to use this configuration for a pasenger when travelling, as you can't use the seat belt.
My 'van' is a four berth even though we have never used it as such.
Great extra space for storage though.
Don't know the implications of converting a two berth into a four berth though.
Happy to post some photos of mine if that will help.

Hi there. Yes a couple photos of the 'upstairs' would be useful if thats no bother.
I have just spoken to a motorhome dealer selling a Syphony - it would seem thats the 2 berth and they have filled the upper area with built in cupboards.
Then there is the 4 berth - like yours - Harmony. I think i need one of those.
thankyou
