Re: How Disappointing- New Microwave Housing
Whilst I agree with most above, we only use our Warwick Duo microwave to store bread, ideal for the purpose, indeed its only purpose as we virtually never use EHU.
I would remove it in seconds and make a cabinet as Melc has done. Mine is held in place, one hopes by 4 self tapping screws through its underside, I know this as I removed it to do my solar installation. As an engineer I was horrified to think that a near (when new) £60k vehicle was so poorly engineered, a few rivnuts and proper machine screws would have been an engineering solution, self tappers are for cowboys fixing 80's escorts!
Make one wonder what other cr8p engineering is under the skin.
My 17yr old Volvo didn't have "teething" problems which everyone in the motorhome hobby seems to expect as "normal"

I know at least one person that has suffered from falling atlases that whacked him on the head. I think it was the heavy one with the Khyber Pass in it that did most damagePeter Brown wrote:No, none of them submit a completed van. You are so right about the danger of flying appliances/pets. Even those bolted to the floor will detach and fly.
