Replacement Wing Mirror and Housing.
Hi everyone, new member posting.
Recently the drivers side wing mirror and support housing was smashed on my 1999 Autosleeper Symphony requiring a total replacement of the whole wing mirror assembly. In looking for a replacement, can members advice whether I should be looking for a replacement based on the Peugeot Boxer van or is there a dedicated version for the Symphony ?
Also, having trawled the internet, in noting there appears to be a model change for the Boxer van around 1998/99, can anyone advise whether the actual two bolt fixing into the door for the mirror housing is standard in terms of the bolt holes spacing, which if so would make choosing a replacement unit a bit easier ?
Thanks in anticipation, Guy

Manual or electric. Standard or Motorhome.
If replacing electric version, tie a piece of string to the wires before you pull them out.

Mirror replacement
I just had my Nuevo II RH mirror smashed by a passing humungus motorhome with a big sticky-out mirror, his was smashed too but he didn't even bother to stop. Anyway, I have ordered a Boxer MEDIUM length electric mirror from Ebay (they seem to come in short, med and long) so hopefully it will fit ok. If not I will post again.

I'm selling a manually operated one from my 1995 Harmony on eBay at present:

PS it's a three hole fixing, the geometry of which was unchanged from 1995 - 2005.

Re: Replacement Wing Mirror and Housing.
Not sure if this helps, but I bought my driver mirror for my 2011 Nuevo II from Ebay, it fits 2006 onwards apparently. I don't know about earlier models, but Ebay do have others listed.
You have to check if you have the short, med or long version and if it is manual or electric adjust or has heated glass. Mine was med with electric adjust only, cost £140 and it is now fitted. Removing the door trim is scary, feels like it will break, see youtube vids. To get the wire replaced meant removing the speaker grille and using a coat hanger to re-train the wire through door holes. It seems such a common problem that these 'sticky out' things get broken that you would think the remedy could be easier.
