Nice and sunny but cold this morning.  Only 1 degree.  Nothing planned so might go for a run somewhere.

Good covering of frost over the lawn first thing but soon disappeared as the sun made its way round the garden.

Turned out a really nice afternoon here Ian, took the wee van and Tag up to Filey for a donder, muddy on the grass and busy with trippers.
Had a brew and are back.

Frost!
Minus 1.4 right now, white in cars and roofs. Fruit trees no blossom as yet so hopefully not affected.
Blue sky, high level thin broken cloud.

Turned out a lovely day here yesterday too, only spoiled by me finding a blocked drain outside. Still debating whether it's something I can fix or if we need to get someone who knows what they're doing to sort it. No frost here, overcast but dry. 3°c just now getting up to 5 or 6° later.

Take care folks

When we were out last night it felt like it felt like there was going to be a frost. I don’t know how cold it was in numbers but the cars and the shed roof were white this morning .The workshop roof was clear. I leave the workshop heater on the frost setting overnight so it must have tripped on.
As cold as it might be this morning it will be a nice walk but I might need woolly hat and gloves . cold walkies

Morning all. Another sharp frost this morning but the sun is up, the sky is clear, so the white stuff will disappear fairly quickly. Should stay dry too so that's a bonus. The boss was suggesting we needed to pay a visit to the big orange diy store today for some essential items, have to say it's probably my least favourite place to shop shrugg

Take care folks.

A nice bright and dry day here. It must have been warmer last night because there’s no sign of frost.
Nothing planned today but it’s a week of things planned. Tuesday I see my foot lady. Wednesday management is out for the day with her nutty friend. Thursday management has a follow up dentist appointment . Friday we are on our travels for the weekend.

Cold here at 3° rising to 6. No chance of rain all day, sun shine blue sky at moment. Couple of outdoor things need doing, but will see just how cold it is first, otherwise will put them off till tomorrow (or Wednesday.....).

Nice one Paul, my mantra exactly. Never do today what you can put off until everybody forgets what needed done happyyes Great views of the sun hitting a snow covered Ben Lomond in the distance on the way back from B&Q, almost made it worth going (almost!). Warming up outside, feels quite Spring like.

Morning folks,

Bit warmer this morning.  5 degrees but it's wet.  Not raining just at this minute but don't think it's too far away.

Well it's here now and on for the morning, at least I'll get to test the my drain clearing work (but that's another story). The boss won't be happy though as she has a hairdressers appointment round the corner. Should get up to around 8°c later when the rain heads south.

Take it easy.

Dry overnight,  rather dull this morning,  temps rising to 10° later with pretty good chance of rain.
Got one of the outdoor jobs done yesterday (basically clearing an under hedge border, membrane down and gravelled over),  aching all over this morning so the other job will have to wait.

A bright but chilly start for muttlies walk. After seeing the foot lady we decided to go to Cleethorpes for lunch. We like Papas on the pier because they serve a pensioner lunch with pudding. A full chippy is too much for us normally but the smaller portions are just enough for lunch.
After lunch we had a meander along the prom. It was cold heading into the wind so logic being it would be better coming back but the wind switched by ninety degrees so we had a cross wind returning. It was a bracing walk to help the lunch go down.
After a cooked lunch it will be simple fare for tea time. Maybe beans on toast with a dash of Worcester sauce. After a lazy day that’s my level of culinary skill level.
