The mention of dentists vers buses by Ian brings to mind agro I had getting to the dentist a few years ago. Managements car broke down first try so they moved my appointment to the next day. Rather than taking the Rienza I thought getting the bus would be easier. No chance!!!! . The bus got stuck in road works. I phoned the dentist and they said just get here when you can.
When I eventually got there the dentist said she would not see me because I had messed up the appointments. She also said I should pay for the missed appointments. The receptionist told me to go home and they would sort things out.
I was called back a week later and saw a different dentist. There was no sign of the other lady and the dentist was very apologetic about what had happened.
The practice has been taken over by a group based in Lincoln so it’s likely they got rid of the nasty lady.

Damp dreary day here, 11° rising to 12. 
Our dental practice is now part of Bupa . It used to be part of Oasis group, some dentists stated NHS (mine did) , some went over to Private (wifes) and so she couldn't be seen until hthey got a replacement dentist. 12 months later they still haven't got a replacement.  Wife gets texts saying she's overdue, she worries that she'll be removed from their lists so rings up , only to be told 'ring back in May'.

Ours went from Oasis (I think) to BUPA, then closed some yrs later (2023) now going to be "Dental Design Studio" opening next week and accepting all previously registered patients (we hope!)

Horrible misty wet day yesterday and with a cold wind too. Today we have rain all day but at least it should be milder at 11°c. Shopping day, let's see if the usual suspects have cleared the teabags off the shelves

Plenty tea bags in Tesco yesterday,  only size missing was 240s of PG, Tetley no problem

Dull start  here but dry after a wet night but more expected later. Very mild at 13°

Raining but not cold. 9 degrees.

Heavy cloud cover and drizzle this morning, not nice dog walking weather, footpaths and roads all dug up by Northern gas guys, has to be done ,mud everywhere .

Morning folks,

7 degrees and overcast at the moment.  Dentist this morning for a check up but I reckon I'll need a wee filling as I chipped a tooth eating a Toffifee then the joy of shopping later on (how was the Tea bag hunt yesterday Tony?)

Morning Dave and good luck at the dentist, I'm going on Wednesday to get my new crown fitted. Plenty of tea bags so far although the price has gone up by 10% . Looks like a better day than yesterday, still hitting 11°c today but mostly dry and cloudy. Only going as far as the pavement to bring the wheelybin in (when our cleansing operatives get round to emptying it)

A nice bright spring like day here.We managed our walk with just my fleece and no heavy coat. Weather like this has me in the mood for travel plans. We have ideas about a couple of days early March maybe Norfolk but I will see what management thinks first. She may have plans I have forgotten about or of course no been told.. 

Well, it's dry, cloudy and heading for 11°c this morning. Forecasts say it will get rainy from lunchtime

Damp, overcast and 9 degrees, quiet mild really.  Dentist was OK - need a small filling and need to go back in a couple of weeks to get it done.

A chilly breeze again this morning but it’s dry so that’s better I suppose. Workshop time this afternoon. Management has bought me castings for my next project. I havnt really done anything special since last September when I was hiding in the workshop whilst sister in law was here.

Mild but fine rain here, rain forecast all afternoon.

Still only 29 degrees and sunny, have to be on the beach by 0630 to get a sun umbrella.
Someone has to do it

Question...if you need a sun umbrella to hide from the very sun you've gone all this way to experience, why not simplify life and find an air conditioned bar and stay there till cooler???

Morning Boaby, it's dry and cloudy here and expected stay that way all day. Should get up to 11 or 12°c later with a decent breeze so it'll be a good drying day.

A grey soggy day here so it will be a shorter walk I think. We are going out for a meal with daughter and son in law tonight and had thought about walking so we. can both have a drink but not if it’s wet.

Peein down here and has been all night, radar shows it moving away 11 ish.
Got a van problem which will be explained in monocoques later, wx related I don't think but hope..

??? Most drinks are wet by nature??
