Re: Weather
Still only -2 here, looks as if there has been a light dusting of snow but it's just frost and it's misty but no rain forecast.

First frost of the winter this morning, an attempt at one anyway. Went to Falmouth for a walk and give the van a run, really lovely morning there, lots of swimmers

Re: Weather
Morning Folks,
Cold again this morning at -3. Not as much frost as there is a light cloud covering and it's supposed to brighten up with some sun later on so that should put a bit of warmth into the house as it feels a touch cool this morning.
Take care if your on your travels and wrap up well.

Nice sunny morning after a light frost if you can call it that, sun is warm but air feels much colder, at least the rain has stopped coming through the kitchen roof!
Have a great day all and watch for that ice!

Re: Weather
You can tell the wind is from the North or North East because it feels cold here. We had to go out after lunch and it felt like it was going dark. If it snows it does feel brighter making it less oppressive than these short grey days.
In theory we had to get birthday cards for my sister and managements nutty friend but it quickly became new jeans for me, mine are falling apart, and two new wooly jumpers. That shop became painfully nearly fifty quid.

Re: Weather
Been very cold here, 2° but felt more like -2.
Chester Park and Ride is free for whole of January so took advantage of that expecting it to be busy but P&R car park only about quarter full and only a handful of passengers on bus. Hadn't been to Chester for couple of years other than walking the walls but town looking very sad with lots of empty shops now instead of the thriving city centre it used to be.

Still just above freezing here with a bit of cloud cover, feels very cold though. Not much change over the coming days although the end of the week looks to be a bit more unsettled.

Re: Weather
Dave has described it, we might get to 5°c later with a bit of sun. We got a load of wet towels dried outside yesterday, just enough sun and wind.
Meant to say Paul, sorry to hear about the apparent demise of Chester, we visited with friends who live nearby in the 90s and loved the city. In fact we rescued (in a rowing boat) two non-swimmers from the river when their skull capsized, neither was wearing a buoyancy aid
Take care all

Good frost first thing, bird bath frozen, but a dry sunny start to the day. High of 4° but no minus temps forecast for next few nights.

Re: Weather
A brighter and slightly warmer day here now the cold wind has eased. Whilst management is having her wig trimmed I did a quick Lidl shop. The centre isle was looking depleted but there were some of the magnetic tool rails like the ones I have already. This time there are three different lengths in pack for about £6. Of course this meant I had to have some workshop time. I have been thinking how to store my latest tools I made.

Topped 30 degrees under a cloudless blue sky yesterday, even a dip in the pool at 28 degrees wasn't enough to cool off..
