Re: Weather
Much the same as yesterday if truth be told, same temp, same sky and rain forecast later...
Quick visit for Mothers Day and then time to start getting the van ready for our trip next weekend.

Morning folks,
Quite a mild 7 degrees this morning but it's raining, not too heavy at the moment but that's supposed to change later.

Rain, Rain and more Rain, it’s been coming down all night here at Mablethorpe, We leave the haven site this morning and the field is absolutely sodden with large pools all over, let the fun begin around 10am when we leave , just hope I don’t need a tow off

Re: Weather
4 degrees and windless. Cloud cover but not a bad morning.
Another orchestral concert this Saturday so rehearsals tonight, Thursday night and Saturday morning. Still tire easily after covid so don't plan to do much else this week
Hope you have an easy exit Chris. Have a good day all.

Re: Weather
Damp here too, looks like heavier rain on the way for later but at least it's fairly mild at 6°c. Forecast for the week is "unsettled" so plenty more rain to come.
Take care folks

Re: Weather
Rain held back till 11.30, managed to get Tag out for a wee donder before lunch, looks like the rain is heading n/w and out to sea.
Hope you don't have to get your van towed of your pitch Chris, I used to have a wee hand winch when I had the old VW dubs, came in handy pulling myself of the beach .
Have a nice day ,hope your concerts go well BB and you don't get the COVID again.

Back Home as the rain stopped, bogged down and had to have a tow off the field , I had grab mats under the front wheels but as I tookthe foot of the clutch they shot back and out and the van just dropped in to the wheel indents in the grass and that was it , it amazes me how there was mud splattered up the side of the van has high as the roof with very little wheel spinning , the field was was well and truly ploughed up by the tractor helping all the vans

Re: Weather
Just a few spots of rain around and quite mild. Took everyone swimming this morning and a session in the hot tub. Last departures of visitors Heathrow on Thursday then think about a few days away in the van. No idea where but the thought of a long journey doesn't appeal too much at the moment.

10°c and very mild this morning, dried up a bit too. Forecast suggests dry spells with occasional showers. Got some work getting done this mirning, including guys doing some stuff outside, so hopefully the rain will stay off for them.

Very windy overnight - all the paper bins have blown over and the paper is probably half way to Oz now. Dry though and 7 degrees.

Re: Weather
7 degrees with showers and blue sky, very strong wind overnight made lots of creaks and groans from house overnight, we have an Amber warning for wind until after lunchtime. Not bin day here so mine are where I left them at side of house. Did have to chase a shopping bag as I didn't notice a small one was on top if the pile when I put them in the trolley

Re: Weather
Yes, very noisy gusts of wind pushing the rain along overnight. If you look outside, it appears to be a lovely day with sunshine and broken cloud, in reality it's 7°c with very strong winds on the way for this afternoon bringing more heavy rain with it.
Workies turned up as planned yesterday and we are now on the information super highway (@ Clive James) with fibre BB, going from 6mbs to 106mbs
Take care folks

Re: Weather
That's impressive Tony most we can muster is 25mps because the line to our house is poor and without digging up half the village they can't do anything as about it. Waiting for better mobile signal and will scrap the landline.
Blew a hoolie last night and lashing rain but all calm today and quite mild. Last day with the remaining visitors then off to Heathrow tomorrow for the afternoon flight to Vancouver....followed by peace and a few days relaxation.
