Poured overnight,  dry and bright now, seems the standard lately.

Same here, sunny one minute and pouring down the next. These conditions usually lead to buying things on the internet we really don't need so instead will be radical and try to book a haircut. That will be the second one this year so not really an essential yet.

Glorious sunrise this morning but the dark clouds are gathering already. The expected heavy rain will be on soon with a brisk wind blowing it across to our friends in the east. Shopping day, so the holiday is well and truly over

Dry overnight for a change.  Looking rather grey this morning and weather warning for rain and wind around here. Shopping day here as well so hope it holds off for a couple of hours.

Blowing, raining, even the ducks are hiding in the bushes.

A brighter but chilly day here. I don’t mind the cold but the recent grey damp weather we have had is not good for arthritic joints and makes you feel miserable. 
Muttly has been mooching round the garden until I started making lunch so he must be happier with the dry weather.

Biblical here before lunch, Sun out now but breezy.

Just had the heaviest downpour for many a year and included hailstones.  9° but it feels like zero. Got soaked through wheeling the trolley from store to car.

Heavy rain came in around 4 pm, cooler evening,look forward to a nice walk in the morning.

Heavy rain throughout the night,stopped around 4, starlite sky with a cool westerly breeze.
Very wet under foot, good walk with Tag along the promanard,keeping of the grass (mud).

Red sky in the morning and all that. Cold and wet yesterday so still damp outside but it looks like it will be a bright and dry day. Got some things to sort out today, enough to keep me busy.

Take it easy

Another cold crisp day here today. The tempreture is dropping fast now it’s gone dark.After Muttly has had his evening walk tonight I will be pulling the curtain across the front door. It’s surprising how much difference it makes to keeping the hall and stairs warmer. 
I remember my Great Uncle and Aunties house in Rochdale having a curtain on a pole behind all the doors in her house not just the front door. Us kids used to hide behind the curtains and ambush the grown ups.

Dry starlite morning,very little breeze , nice walk down the harbour with Tag and back via the toon.
Porridge later, having a few hours under the duvet first.

Turned quite mild again at 11°c and it's dull but dry. Won't last as rain is on the way for much of today. No plans for today except making a big pot of minestrone.

Hacking it down all day really annoying as in a strong southerly water comes through the house wall just above the window
Tried everything and various builders have shrugged their shoulders so now no idea what to do. 
Just hope it stops raining soon.

Heavy rain overnight,cleared by 4.30, milder westerly breeze lots of surface water on the roads.
Good walk with Tag down the promanard towards the Spa and back through the old toon.

Very wet yesterday and right through the night. Dry now with a clear sky and a brisk wind blowing, now up to 12°c. Got to nip out for a couple of things before the population wakes up and decides to go shopping.

Dry and a half decent day down here today, managed to take the van out for a run to the beach and get a long walk in. Has Spring arrived already? Usually have daffodils in the far SW by Christmas but the first ones are out now!

Nice to see the early Daffs Gh, cool damp and foggy here,not pleasant to walk in, short walk with Tag.
Try Thompsons brick sealant, or you may have to re-point your wall, assuming it's brick.

Damp and very foggy here on the East Lincs coast line

Just starting to get light in Angus, half an hour yet till Sunrise. Crisp chilly morning with no wind. Dry day forecast.

We normally  get snowdrops in early February and first daffodils late March so will see if we get them any earlier this year. Only had light dusting of snow on back hills ie Grampian Mountains for one day so far this winter so gentle end to meteorological autumn, often white for most if November.

Quite a decent dry day yesterday but we had rain during the evening. Dry and bright now but a little cooler at 10°c, seems to be the outlook for the next few days. Got some things to sort out so need to get my act together
