Just back from delivering moho to daughter who is using it this weekend as cheap accommodation while taking part in a brass band competition over near West Coast, rained all the way to Perth for handover, swapped to her Audi A1 sport for journey home..very impressive machine, auto wipers helped when rain stopped as didn't have to find controls, many years since I last drove a VAG car. Scared me witless when I hit the loud pedal, goes like snow off a shovel. Hope she is enjoying leisurely acceleration in the moho. Might go out for a drive this afternoon and see what the sport mode button does

Forecasters way off yet again, started raining around 10am and hasn't stopped since. The gardener was not pleased as she wanted to cut the grass (I guess she means the bits that are not dead  )

Stayed dry and warm, cooler than late, wind dropped enough to have a BBQ earlier.

Near Nantes having bimbled along what is left of the River Loire, everything is parched and in places you could walk across the Loire. Locals say it has been getting worse in recent years but this year is the worst ever. 
28 degrees clear and sunny the Vendee coast is calling,

Cool, dry and sunny, hovering around 16°c. Yet again the forecast is for it to stay this way today and to get a bit warmer, this time it looks like it will. Trying to work up the energy (and enthusiasm) to gather all the stuff I need to go over and rearrange the dirt on the van  .

Same weather here on Eastern side. Very pleasant out earlier.

Cooler at 13 degrees clear sky ,light westerly breeze, nice long walk with Tag down to the cliffs to see the sunrise,beautiful start to the day.
Finished cleaning the car canopy and white gutters etc, I feel a BBQ coming on later.

Forecast was spot on yesterday, it got quite warm during the afternoon. Bit more cloud about today but little change in the temperature at 16°c. Taking it easy today after washing the van yesterday, problem is my head age is a lot younger than my body age. The body age always comes out on top 

Nice bright and dry first thing this morning. By the time I had made breakfast it is getting warm.
The squirrel that has started to visit our garden was sat on the wall when muttly went out and just sat watching him. The squirrel eats the fruit from our cherry tree dropping half eaten cherries on the path but muttly didn’t even bother. I don’t think he has ever seen a squirrel before.

Noirmoutier en L'lle 28 degrees and sunny. Will spend a couple of nights here then no idea after that. Only slight snag is mozzies are size of an F16 and equally unfriendly amazing sunset last night.

Glad you're getting some decent weather GH 

Little change in the stuff up here, it got pretty warm in the sun yesterday. We've still got light cloud, it's still 16°c and they still say it will heat up a bit 

Getting things sorted for our next trip away in a few days

Light drizzle been on for past hour, pavements now wet, but fairly calm and not cold.

Dry here with the temperature nudging up a bit to 18°c just now. There is still some cloud about but it got quite warm yesterday when the sun broke through. Looks like little change over the next few days. Not impressed with the forecast for the weekend though as we head south 

Saw a report yesterday that the UK was going to have a shortage of pumpkins this year.........what a catastrophe 

Still 27 degrees in St-Jean-de monts  but more unsettled with threat of rain and storms later. Not too much vino but why can't the French make croissants they all taste like solid fat.
Still on an aire 13e a night right by sandy beach electric, water tap and for 5e can use the pool and facilities of camp site next door what's not to like.

Yes, instead of not hollowing out a pumpkin this year, I won't be hollowing out a tumchie* 

It did brighten up as today has gone on but there has been very little change in the temperature.

*A tumchie is a turnip (or for those watching in black and white, a Swede   )

Overnight rain eased of around 5, clear cool morning here, however thick sea fret/har rolling in over Bempton to the north east.
Shorter walk with Tag, of to Scarborough for some new boots.two pairs I have are cream crackered..

Hardly a cloud in the sky this morning, bright and sunny but the temperature has taken a dip to 15°c. Some areas of Scotland were down to 1°c overnight, a nod to what's on the way. Bit of last minute shopping to do today before the off tomorrow
