We had our lunch there after our walk, nice food and good value. Didn't they the cakes but the scones are great. Walked into Forfar this morning and back after lunch at the Gallery, now that was cheap.

Still breezy here but it's brightening up and the sky is clearing. I'm a bit less grumpy, but not much less 

I am not sure about the rest of the country but it’s been warm and overcast all day here. At lunch time we went out to the Rienza to look for something and there were a few drops of rain. That reminds me the back vent is wide open.

Same over the other side of the country. I think the heat and the  sunshine is all down south.

Heat, yes, but it’s been overcast here today, too. Yesterday was a real scorcher.

The last time we were in Australia the locals in Brisbane were winging because they were having a heat wave. It was 40 degrees in the city. Yes it was uncomfortable for us poor poms but surely they should be able to cope. 
We thought it would a good idea to go to the outdoor pool but they said it was too risky to be out in the sun. I wasn’t intending to go as nature and I had factor 50.

23 degrees in the shade, nice cool n/e sea breeze this morning sunrise covered with light cloud cover, good walk out with Tag down on to the cliff walk earlier .
Re pointing boundary wall, then painting with masonry paint.

More comfortable night, didn't need the fan on. Weather app says 16 degrees just now. Due to reach low 20s here near Welsh coast.

Rail trip yesterday  was very nice and ice cream shop in Beddgelert well worth the walk from station. Once home it will be back to Ffestiniog  Web cams for me but with pleasant recent memories of visit to one of my favorite places. Off for a day trip to Llanberis today.

Cooler morning here with the chilly breeze blowing. It should warm up later but, in the meantime,  it's nice driving weather.

Dry ,overcast and very muggy, No sea breeze, nice walk with Tag, dive bombed by gulls again.just chipping away at the old mortar Tony, plenty of time.

Another peaceful and comfortable night slightly overcast this morning with a cooling breeze. Time to move on to North Wales coast today for a few nights  at an unpronounceable private site, far more consonants than vowels in the name.

Drive to Llanberis  was gorgeous yesterday, had lunch looking down valley before turning up to Pen y pas. Parking restrictions seem to be being observed making for a nice drive.

Bit more overcast here in Stonie, some rain on the forecast for later. Think it's cooling down here over the next few days. Not as many gulls around here as before Boaby, think the bird flu has had an impact on numbers.

Plenty of fish suppers for the gulls to tuck into here Tony, day trippers run the gauntlet with them on the prom everyday.

Thanks Boaby, we walked on the road away from the town this afternoon. There was a gull on the road, still alive but not able to move. They've got signs up telling people not to touch the dead birds, I'm not a fan of gulls but it's a worrying situation.

On the plus site, we were able to watch dolphins in the bay this morning. They were quite far out (I got one blurry photo) but it still attracted a big crowd. Turned quite cold here but the rain hasn't amounted to much thankfully.

Cooler breeze ,thick cloud cover but warm,some drizzle throughout the night, earlier walk with Tag this morning to avoid other dog walkers.
Birds are dropping down Tony, we have a large Doo population here and some are on the ground due to heat exhaustion ( local vet ) the wife picked up a young Swift yesterday unfortunately it was to far gone for the vet to do anything.

Peaceful and pleasant night at private site about 2 miles from  A55. Lots of su shine since early this morning. Hope to park on prom at Llandudno then open to bus to Conwy.

Nice walk at Bodnant Gardens yesterday afternoon.

Wet start here and fairly cool, rain is moving south so should be clear in a few hours. There's a regatta on over the next few days and the local highland games on Sunday, must be some mistake as I am famous (in our house anyway) for organising our trips to just miss events, markets, etc 

Anybody got tips for stopping folk using your pitch as a shortcut to the toilets, my wife has confiscated the handle for the steadies 

20degrees already this morning which I think is the lowest temperature we are due to see for the foreseeable future. 

Last full day in Wales, plan to visit one of the NT properties, probably near coast in the hope of a breeze, woodland walks and ice cream.

Moving on tomorrow to Chester Fairoaks for one night of being cooked instead of sleeping then SWMBO will spend Monday morning in her favorite wool shop near Warrington looking to fill all available cupboard space in van while I look for shade. Then need to push on home with five hour drive in 30degree heat.

Stay safe and drink plenty of water.

Few showers yesterday, the short but annoying type that are enough to soak you and make you look a dork when the sun comes back out (but enough about me  ). This morning it's cool but bright, forecast to get up to a heady 22°c later. Good advice from BB  except I will swap the water for beer 

Nice pre dawn walk out with Tag, before the sun really gets hot , it's 24 and climbing , some brief heavy rain showers yesterday afternoon, thanks Tony.

I tried to blow the rain in the other way Boaby, honest   I just don't have as much puff these days. Nice and sunny now but a cool breeze is keeping the temperature down a bit.

Just when you thought you'd seen it all. We are used to seeing the campervans and MHs overnighting on the prom outside the Stonie site. This morning there was a tent pitched on the pavement, parents in a van and 4 kids sleeping in the tent 

Cool fresh breeze coming of the sea, nice sunrise earlier, not a cloud in the sky except for contrails.
I counted an average of 8 MHs a night along Stonie shore Tony, didn't see any tents though.
Enjoy the rest of your hols Tony, keep cool, it's 22 degrees in shade the now.

Just about the same number doing it now, including a converted German fire truck with a large living box on the rear. They tried to book into the site but were knocked back? Need to see if I can get a photo.

Absolutely pouring down here and on the cool side, anyone jealous   Take care folks and stay safe.

Sitting parked on prom at Rhyl while SWMBO has her customary post breakfast sleep, which is part of her fibromyalgia along with fatigue pain and confusion.

Currently have sliding door open, facing north and with passenger seat rotated. Temperature is 25degrees with very little air movement, light cloud cover and plenty sun. Looking to move on to Chester area to check in to Fairoaks just after 1pm, quick lunch then off to National Waterways museum for the afternoon
