Weather

Dry and overcast with a chilly breeze first thing this morning. Muttly was up and waiting for me when I went down to sort breakfast. He is a bit confused because management is home. He dosnt like changes. 
Another appointment at the hospital today.  Management has a follow up appointment at the hospital after her bone scan thing last week. They recommended an infusion every eighteen months to help with her bone density. Not that she has a major problem but quite a normal thing for women at her age. Of course it’s all my fault that she broke her ankle.

Thanks for the travel suggestion Boaby, have also been there so that one whilst a great idea is probably out. Thinking long haul.... but all that can wait because it is a nice sunny morning and threatens to be a good week so its paint brushes and rollers out and attack the walls around the place. May even get a couple of days out in the much underutilised van!

Some broken cloud this morning with some sun breaking through but still on the cool side at 9°c rising to a heady 12°c later. We got unforecasted, but not unwelcome given how dry the ground has been, rain yesterday. Hopefully it will stay dry today.

Blue skies and patchy cloud this morning. Off to the big city of Truro for a bit of r&r this morning. Best keep her Ladyship away from as many shops as possible.

Dry with broken cloud, think the cool weather is here for a few days at least. Nice walking weather though so that's what we'll do.

Take it easy 

Yesterday turned into a surprisingly warm day, so much so that my forehead is a bit red this morning. Today has started bright and sunny with a cloudless sky. Need to get the walking shoes on and get out, but with a hat on this time 

Another dry morning although a little more cloud, light E and 13 degrees.
Management has given me the day off today so maybe a good walk along the clifftops, will decide when we get behind the wheel to wherever we are headed!

Yet another sunny start. After doing a couple of walks over the last few days we're having a day of rest to let the old legs recover   Site got busy last night, I forgot it was the bank holiday w/e. As befitting a bank holiday, it looks like rain tomorrow 

Was cold but dry yesterday at Newark and today looks like a repeat.

Sun has been shining, warming up now but dropping right down tonight.

Great day yesterday at Bassetts Cove, walking down to Hell's Mouth on the North Cornish coast. Warm and sunny. Repeat weather today, back from the early Friday shop, so much traffic around.
Another trip to the hospital this afternoon to look forward to, hopefully nearing the end of visits, NHS has been wonderful!

It was a bit chilly and grey this morning on our muttly walk and walking to see my foot lady. It’s warmed up now but it looks like it’s going to be a chilly bank holiday on the east side of the country.

Nice day out along the beaches in north Scarborough,called into Filey on our return, sites very busy.

Yesterday was very warm with plenty of sunshine. Late arrivals on site were struggling to find pitches so I guess the site is pretty much full, anyone getting here today can have ours  Nice bright start today but it's downhill later as rain is expected from the west.

Very cold overnight in Newark, only 1° but a bright start today with a high of 13 and a low tonight of 9.

Hope the weather holds out for you Tony and you avoid the rain as long as possible. Bright morning here, 11 degrees so far and hopefully staying dry today but rain coming tomorrow. Hasn't put the emmets off though! The gatehouse to where we live (not ours!) is a holiday let and it has been constantly full since Christmas, between £150 and £200 a night  for a one bed place! Maybe £40 is not so bad for a C&MC pitch so better not complain too much!

A lovely bright and warmer day so far here. It’s another busy day planned for managements birthday. After muttly has had his walk I will have to be scrubbed and ready for daughter and partner to take us both out to lunch.
She has booked us a table in a place on the sea front in Cleethorpes. We have been before and enjoyed a nice meal. Considering it’s bank holiday parking might be interesting but for once it’s not my problem.

Nice and sunny now, cooler earlier when I went out with Tag, it's still very dry, no rain for weeks.

Rain arrived on cue GH, just after we got onsite and set up so no campers were harmed in the process    This site is fully booked for the next few days, the air is heady with the strong scent of new awnings

I woke to the sound of it raining early this morning but it’s dry now. Muttly decided to go for a mooch round the garden whilst I sorted breakfast. He came back with a wet head so I assume he has been under the bushes.
Nothing planned today but I might trim the wild rose back that’s in the front hedge. Bits of it stick out making trimming the hedge a hazard if it’s not cut back.

The rain passed through fairly quickly yesterday, it wasn't heavy, just enough to be annoying. This morning it's dry and overcast but very mild, forecast is for 17°c later. Good walking weather, so that's what we'll do.
