Re: Weather
Stubbies again today but like the rest of the team the cold is coming back
Suffering after effects of hours of pressure washing so a walk round the village then take it easy for a bit. All done now though so next job start painting white walls. That is a bit easier on the old bones just never ending.
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Well done, we had a walk round the village this morning, didn't see a soul and the rest of the day has been spent laying in the sun and doing nowt
Made a really nice change, San Miguel or Fosters have to be my favourites, opened a bottle of chardonnay with lunch, most of it went down the sink it was so peppery.

Re: Weather
The weather brightened up by lunch time and the chilly breeze eased off long enough to get my jobs done this morning.
Daughter took management out for lunch / afternoon tea so I had the afternoon to myself to get some workshop time in.

Thick sea fret/har cleared by 4, dried up enough for a short walk out with Tag, nice dawn chorus.
Have a nice day.

Re: Weather
It stayed warm and bright yesterday, three lots of washing (including some heavy stuff) out and dried. Today has started in a similar fashion, we'll try and enjoy it before the cold weather arrives tomorrow. Even some snow in the forecast

A layer of high cloud this morning and once again much cooler, light rain expected later on in the day so better be quick with any painting.

Re: Weather
So far the temperature has not dropped but it will, it is overcast though so I guess the rain is on it's way. Not too upset with that as we've had a great run of days with decent, warm sunshine. Off to meet a chap for coffee later, he's my mother and fathers son but he's always been like a brother to me

Re: Weather
Thick fog first thing, couldn't see house behind us, most unusual for here, but cleared quite quickly revealing clear blue sky, sun shining brightly.

Re: Weather
It was bright but overcast this morning. The cold wind was back for our early walk.
The new fence panel arrived at 0815, due between 0800 - 1300, so I got some gunk on it before fitting it at the weekend. It’s already pressure treated but I would like it to mach the rest of the fence shed and workshop. Hopefully if the weather holds as forecast I will get it done at the weekend.

Re: Weather
Had a little rain last night, first for well over a week. We've got light cloud this morning but it's dry and a bit cooler. See the loud mouth chef has a new (self promotion) programme on the BBC, time you got that "celeb" boat out GH

Re: Weather
9 degrees and sun breaking through this morning, looks like it should be dry so an outside jobs day.
Still no birds in any of the boxes we put up so a bit disappointing there, too late now I suspect for any lettings!

Re: Weather
It’s gone grey and damp here and looks like it’s stuck for the day. I think muttlies walk won’t be very far with this weather because I am aching already. The cold damp weather gets my joints at the best of times but treating the new fence panel in the cold wind yesterday wasn’t a smart idea.
I don’t think I will do anything productive today so perhaps a day planning a future trip tucked up indoors would make me feel better.

Re: Weather
Started sleeting here yesterday around teatime, turning to proper snow which gave a good covering on the grass and roofs (or is it rooves) by bedtime. Dry and bright this morning with half inch of snow lying on grass and rooftops.

Re: Weather
We had snow yesterday but it didn't last long or lie. This morning the sky is cloudless and we have a light grass frost. Should stay dry for most of today, outside anyway
We had a bit of drama last night before bedtime, kitchen floor had a pool of water on it. Got the mop out and traced the problem to a holed CH radiator. Managed to shut the valves and get a dish under to catch the water but now we need to get it replaced.
Every day a new bit of fun

Re: Weather
Lucky you weren't away Tony, could have been a right mess, at least it is easy enough to isolate the valves and whip a new rad on.
Clear blue skies and bright sunshine, 5 degrees and no frost, off to Lidl to empty their stock of upright geraniums then a walk along the beach is in order. Geraniums are £3.99 each in the local garden centre and the same price for a tray of six in Lidl, pretty good deal!

Didn't take long for snow to disappear in the sun.
