Heavy downpours overnight, cleared by 4, still overcast cast but very warm.
Good walk out with Tag along the coastal path, lots of joggers out this morning

Warm and damp start with more rain in the forecast. Looks like more of the same over the next few days so no BBQ for us.

Watched a guy with a large family start up his CC BBQ underneath his Fiamma awning , needless to say he was oblivious to the fact that the plastic sheet awning above him was stretching and starting to melt.
I walked over with a bread roll hopefully for a link sausage and pointed to the awning sheet above him, he said it's a hired van, so what

Made it to Yorkshire, sitting at top end of Filey Country Park with a view and a brew. 23C with no breeze, bright clouds to the south, thunder behind us up north

 Nothing like a bit of melted plastic on your roll and sausage   Think his "plastic" will take a hit when the hire company check the van over.

Meant to add that we've had no rain today, it's been very pleasant and warm. Don't think our friends in the north of Scotland have been quite so lucky.

Should have mentioned you were going to Filey big man.   ,  we had the day there on Tuesday,we nipped down to the Hornsea sea port yesterday and the vet this morning.
Hope you managed to avoid the heavy rain, some good chip shops in town, also a good Tesco. Enjoy your time down here.

Just a short visit to Filey this afternoon. Staying on CMC Cayton Village site for the weekend. Stayed dry so far. Mobility scooter under it's cover padlocked to towbar. Off to make burgers for tea

Cooler dry night, sun just appearing, good walk out with Tag under the stars, lots of sniffs.

Stayed warm and cloudy yesterday but no rain, almost an identical start today with it being dry and cloudy but the temperature has dropped quite a bit. Might have to dig out a fleece 

At Cayton Village CMC, Sargent says outside temperature 7.5C, haven't stuck my head out yet, just put heating on to warm van up for other half before she emerges from duvet and complains.

Kettle on next for leisurely breakfast.

After a stuffy night it’s slowly got colder as the days gone by. It’s now a very overcast evening with quite a chill in the air.

Same here, cloudy and dry but the gauge has dipped a bit lower again. Fleece is on this morning and there will be a serious discussion about whether the heating is going back on or not. Then my wife will tell me one way or the other 

Rain overnight and it's a dull, damp start to the day. Still cool but the forecast is for it to dry up later. More rain tomorrow though 

Up and about before dawn, mild overcast and rain forecast for the next 24 hours. Didn't walk Tag far this morning .

I just managed muttlies walk this morning before the rain started. The parcel lady that came to collect our sons return parcel locked like a drowned rat. 
To get from the car into Sainsbury’s needed my waterproof coat.  Typically all the spaces near the door were full. 
I hope this weather stays dry for my trip to Dorset tomorrow. It’s a long haul I don’t fancy it in the rain.

Back home after nice trip to Yorkshire Coast. Dull and damp this morning, reduced visibility with mist.

Nice to see you back home safe BB, hope the weather didn't spoil your holiday, it's dried up this morning,although with an autumnal feel in the air.

Dry and dull with a cool feel in the air, hopefully the rain will stay off. Might venture out for walk, then again, I might not 

Thanks Boaby, we managed to dodge rain over the weekend, I didn't need coat on at all. Now to empty and service inside of van, daughter away on Friday with it for tour of Western Isles.

Clear cool night, nice sunrise,hardly any wind, Tag back to fitness after his vets visit,back to his old tricks.
