Fret free morning, clear night, sunrise behind light cloud and mild, although a dew on the ground.
Gull free morning, good walk out with Tag, around Sewerby cricket fields and back for a couple of morning rolls and bacon.
Have a nice day.

Get the BBQ prepped and ready Boaby, looks like a few decent days ahead. Still bright here but there's still a cool wind blowing.

A completely different day here today. I set off with muttly this morning for our walk with my fleece on but by half way round the walk I had to take it off.
I only hope this weather keeps up for the rest of this month for our next couple of trips.

Not sure if we can keep hold of this hot weather BB, it's 22 outside with light cloud cover and a light warm breeze.
Have a safe trip.

Thanks Boaby, weather looks ok for what we want to do. Want to spend some time in Dalby forest at weekend then Whitby on Monday on way back north. Cloudy dry and still is good for other half with her mobility scooter. Wind and rain are her nemesis.

It’s getting warm here already today. When I took breakfast up the sun is on the front making the bedroom feel stuffy. I have put the fan on to clear the air.
Muttly won’t be dashing anywhere. He is a big woolly bear not dressed for warm weather. Most dogs would go and find somewhere in the shade ,he has to be told to move.

Lakes are heaving, does nobody go to work anymore? No complaints about behaviour but trying to sit in to get food or drink is pointless (unless you pre book). Love the place but clearly so do thousands of others  shrugg

Clear dry night again, started to drizzle around 5 am, still very warm though, came back from our walk as it started to get really dreich.
Coastal towns packed yesterday, according to the news, neighbours confirm it, Marton road in Bridington ( leading to the CAMC site)had traffic queuing  onto the Scarborough road, mostly trippers,H/Ms and caravans

What a change this morning. After a stuffy night it was hammering it down with rain at breakfast time. The house next door must have a blocked down pipe because the rain runs down the wall after the hopper for the bathroom sink. It stopped at about nine so I got ready to walk into town to get my wig trimmed.
I got as far as our gate and rain came back just as hard so I drove into town. Typically it stopped raining when I got there. No matter it was better than being soggy whilst I was being trimmed.
Its nice and bright and dry again now so its muttly walk time. He will like the wet grass smells.   walkies

It was a better start than forecast in the Lakes, we got packed up before any rain arrived. Run back home was mainly dry too but there are yellow warning signs for heavy rain and there was evidence of lying water.

Don't burn the steaks Boaby  hugegrins
